I mean I've seen some Vol covers of it and it kinda reminds me of Barakamon. Is it similar to Barakamon in a way?

Yotsuba&! is one of the best slice of life series around. Guaranteed to cheer you up.
I haven't read Barakamon yet, but going from its synopsis they should be similar.
Yeah kinda, just go try it out. It's really easy to pick up and universally loved.

It still puzzles me how nice his art looks compared to Tales. Ignoring the fact that the designs are hit or miss, I don't get why his cover art for Tales ports look so bad like Tales of the Abyss 3DS lol

I guess I'll see when I get there. I watched and read AMG since elementary school, so the series means a lot to me, but I haven't finished it. It's just so weird to actually finish it, but I'm planning to later this year.
Going to buy the volumes from where I left off reading.
That's actually a better reasoning/explanation than what I was expecting. It seems actually planned out and straightforward. I was expecting something like Togashi.

So he's busy doing other stuff. Well, at least it's reassuring to know that it wasn't due to a loss of interest or anything ominous like that.
I also need to finish it someday. I rather liked it, but it gradually slipped off my mind as my backlog became bigger, and the slow progress didn't really help.
Keep in mind that after a certain point Fujishima was only writing the series and had assistants drawing it, so the art takes a small drop. When people complain about the art getting worse, this is what they're referring to.
I just caught up with Prison School, as gross as it can be its one of my favourite manga. Consistently hilarious.
I feel pretty bad for Hana.

Yeah, it resumed publication, with a couple of new chapters released in september, though there aren't any translations yet. Apparently the fifth volume is going to be the last.
I think God's Beard was being facetious.

So it seems the author of Tokyo Ghoul is a fan of HunterxHunter.
He drew a picture of Hisoka, then again Hisoka and Tskuiyama are a bit similar on how psychotic they are.
Plus Gotoh and Matsuri look alike in design.
For real though who doesn't love HunterxHunter? I really love it even if the haitus is killing me.

Oh, that makes sense. I left off in the 30s for the volumes, so I guess it happens in the 40's.
Although looking at the volume covers, 47 and 48 look a bit off.

Yotsuba&! Chapter 1
This was so fuckin good. This is like a laid back version of Barakamon. Yotsuba is indeed weird but that's the best thing about this. Her interactions with her surroundings are so great and hilarious. The first chapter really did make me feel good. I can't wait to find out of the many things that may happen with Yotsuba and her dad living in a new neighborhood.
Why hasn't anybody ever told me about this series? Just by the first chapter I'm already hooked.
Now I see why people like this series so very much.

I actually think he is just a very, very jaded translator who was at his limit already and this pushed him over the edge.
Speaking as a former fansubber who chatted with other fansubbers and scanlator teams, dat frustration is real :lol:

Those are probably it, I think I remember the story arc where it happened but I don't want to spoil you.

Yotsuba is such an adorable little ball of positive energy~
I guess most people tend to assume that any regular around here has already read Yotsuba&! since it's generally considered to be the cheery slice of life series everyone knows about.
Maybe Kiyohiko Azuma will go back to regular releases by then!
