Vanilla tastes the sweetest. No drawn out drama or extreme psychotic stuff - well compared to your average yandere - makes it a pleasant and quick read. It might still crush your heart, but most of all because the emotions are presented in an almost suffocating way. Seriously stuffy at times.

Noticed the DeDeDeDe Demons Destruction protag on his shirt

Well that was really good but I already knew that. It's a pretty dark, almost nihilistic work and pretty much every character has some kind of huge flaw, especially the main ones, although each character is pretty likable and goes through an arc. Just have some questions -

It's a representation of his mental state of sorts. It might be weird, but I feel the various crude-ish depictions of Punpun make it easier to relate to him as he's portrayed in a more abstract and raw manner. It not only makes him stand out amongst a reasonably realistically drawn cast, but makes the various emotions more obvious (the different shapes) yet subtler (we don't actually see his expressions). I'd say, several scenes wouldn't have as much of an impact if Punpun weren't drawn that way. In particular, when he "became pitch black and grew horns", you could immediately tell that something went very wrong with him, without having to actually see some sort of demented expression that'd be such an indication were he depicted realistically.

I think the only connection is that Pegasus' dad founded the cult Aiko's mom was in, but otherwise they have no relation.

Predictable ending for the Space Elevator story (it falls amd kills millions because space writers love bad endingsl

Anyway why would they build a super space pillar in Kansas City. It seems like a bad location. Worst yet needing cables that go from Kansas to Oregon, Mississippi, North Carolina, Texas, Michigan, Minnesota, respectively seems really infeasible. That is ruining so much of Americas heartland, and seems to put unnecessary burden on our homeland security efforts. I hope there are no actual plans to construct a space elevator like this.

I don't see it that way. Almost everything Sachi did was for her own interest first. Aiko at least has the decency to tell Punpun that his obsession with her was unhealthy and that she was a far normal girl compare to his idolization.
