I wouldn't be surprised to learn Seo already thinks they're dating, its just Waka who doesn't know.

Then again, I don't know how Soma and Erina could ever have kids because the mention of sex would cause Erina to pass out and I doubt Soma even knows or cares what that is. I guess the best way to explain it to them would be "that thing that happens when you eat food, except without any food involved."
