Tokyo Ghoul: re 31
Kaneki is like Mike Tyson. I sure hope those ears are tasty.
Not a fan of the lightning fast way to conclude the arc. ~13 chapters with little payoff and concluded in 8 pages because lul reinforcements came. Hirako vs Uta got no meaningful resolution, the author skipped the reveal Saiko's Kagune, most of Hinami fight and did a super quick resolution to Haise &Takizawa. The latter shrugged off similar blows a few minutes earlier which makes that conclusion not very earned. In general, the story didn't progress very much outside of Hinami's capture and Haise'&Kaneki compromise. All this makes the ending feel rushed and anticlimactic.
Though as much as I disliked both the incessant „people die but they're not killed” and the proliferation of half-ghouls at the end of part 1 . I managed to warm up to both. Takizawa got what he deserved for being the biggest waste of space inpart 1 and Amon has a set of interesting dynamics with a bunch of other characters and is pretty much the only „good” person with the knowledge of CCG's wrongdoings.
Dunno were things are going to go from here. Tsukiyama arc and then Toka busting her father and Hinami out of Cochlea perhaps ? Or maybe reformed Urie will go with the rst of the crew to :re and sniff her and Yomo out lol. One thing is certain, Arima/Haise/Akira/Hinami interactions will be fun for sure.

That's even weirder then.
I remember Jump causing issues over Hancock P.O.P. having nipples (that could only be seen if you broke her top), and now they're showing nipples in their magazines.

I'm loving this change of focus to non-Hina characters, especially Hitomi.
Hina is a brat but I love her for it. Her interactions with Nitta is just as hilarious as Hitomi's chapters.

The raw for the next chapter is out and has a lot of Erina in it. Not that I can read runes, but there's a bunch of Soma/Erina interaction.
It's not that I dislike Hina, quite in the contrary, I like her a lot, but the rest of the cast entertains me as much as her and having the manga focus on them adds a lot of variety to the manga.
Hitomi in particular tends to have excellent chapters.

Meat and Slowkoro, basically, but also Erina in reality. And Slowkoro is way too chickenshit to make a move. Not that it would matter because Soma is oblivious and needs to read some manga to figure out that girls exist.
Soma and Erina are so oblivious they're going to be married with kids and Erina will still be plotting how to get Soma fired from his job at Totsuki because of his B-grade commoner food while Soma will be confused as to why Erina is living in his house but vaguely pleased she's there to try his dishes.
Yeah whole chapter was an ass pull on EPIC levels. Sasuke needs to get his arm replaced ASAP. All of this is his fault in the first place for fighting Naruto to the end anyway.
