Between this and the squidward miiverse posts, Splatoon has literally the best fanbase right now.

It's got a lot of neat fanart, for sure:

Still kinda surprised to see an Ashita no Joe parody though.

The foodgasms are already pretty ridiculous, I wonder what's going to happen when Soma challenges 1st Seat.

I'd hate for the series to go Yakitate Japan but it's burning through its reservoir of reactions pretty quickly!

Saturn Apartments by Iwaoka Hisae

Wouldn't living on a gigantic man-made structure encircling Earth at an altitude of 35000 meters be pretty interesting? Well, not that you have a lot to say on the matter if you're already there, as the planet is inhabitable and now an off-limits preserve. Hey, at least there are no more wars of any sort, right? Yeah, but it sucks that society has to be divided in three different levels, as the people living on the lower level don't have access to sunlight and live in pretty poor conditions doing most of the dirty work. Oh yeah, sunlight. Upper level folks love them some sunlight, and as such window cleaners are employed to make sure windows are kept clean. The ones on the upper levels, at least. Shit's expensive, after all.

A job of risking your life as you clean windows in the stratosphere. Sounds great, doesn't it? Mitsu, this little guy here, our protagonist, certainly thinks so.

Saturn Apartments is an intriguing yet down-to-earth (as much as it can) sci-fi slice of life manga that depicts a profoundly classist society confined within an artificial environment, and the everyday life of its people as seen through the eyes of a young lower-level boy, as well as the various interactions he encounters through his window cleaning job.

Featuring simple yet effective art, a colorful cast and an unusual yet oddly relatable setting. Saturn Apartments is definitely worth your attention. Do give it a read if you like slice of life series, and even if you don't.

Last Notes volume 2

I'm really, really loving this shojo. Emiru is simply adorable while Aki and Haru are funny.
I'm actually sad this is only 3 volumes long.

There are more than just over the top or/and erotic reaction in Shokugeki no Soma. We've seen normal ones for sometimes. Also Shun can make erotic one in creative way without involving girls clothes turn to shred by some tentacles as shown by the 115 bonus chapter. Beside, what I found grating and ridiculous about Yakitate Japan post-Monaco arc food reaction is that many of them become permanent. Unless Shokugeki no Soma went full gag manga route like Yakitate Japan did somehow, I'm sure the food reaction will be still acceptable.

Also it's ridiculous that Bitch-sensei reaction in Shokugeki no Soma is the best NSFW picture of here than I can found on the internet. Tosh pls

I hope Megumi faces off against DarkSoma again so we can get another JoJo reference.

Preferably with Megmui using THE WORLD
of vegetables.

Some great reaction shots in this week's Shokugeki no Soma. Soma won't get expelled if only because he can at least make some money.

I''s Volumes 1-15

Fun ride, I have a soft spot for how dumb and prone to overthinking Ichitaka is. Final volume was a little bit weak imo but I enjoyed the series a bunch.

Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka 36

Practice with such a big weapon, I wonder what that is for lol

I enjoyed it when I read it back in the day. Sort of nice to see a romance manga from Jump that actually had a focus.
Flashback part was sort of neat at the finale too.

Domestic na Kanojo 52

Sasuga Kei is awful at writing sexual abuse scenes.
Between the art making the attempt of rape look consensual, and then Rui complaining to Natsuo about him saving her from being raped...

I don't care how much you want to hate someone else, going "Why did you save me? I want to hate you!" is not something someone would say to the person that saved you from being raped.

Also how did Natsuo even enter the room? The door was closed and you need the room card to be open when closed!

Inio Asano does Splatoon fanart
Dowman Sayman, Asano, who are we missing from GAF favourites?

Besides Seo.

Yeah, one of the better shounen/romance-series out there.
Kinda want to reread it, it has been a few years. I think I remember Love Hina, Ichigo 100%, Video girl Ai and I"s being some of the first manga I read way back then.

On a completely other note: I haven't read Tokyo Ghoul yet, and :re seems to be pretty well liked right now, so I should probably give it a shot, huh?

Well it makes sense. You are setting a business in the festival. If you cant make profit on it, you probably will be a failure setting your own restaurant.

The problem is that unless this is a really short arc, having Soma set up a stand and just barely avoid explusion doesn't do anything but make his character weaker. It makes no sense from a narrative perspective in a shonen manga to do that.

That is really stupid.

I didn't realize until I randomly searched for Persona Q at Indigo that the Persona 4 manga is licensed by Udon. No announcement either from them, they just put it in the Diamond fall solicitations without any other publicity, odd. Vol. 1 comes out this October.

I also didn't realize they licensed Steins;Gate, Udon really needs to announce these things more publicly.
