They did that for MK8 too, it's the top and then the bottom, so 30 overall4 players local looked like 30fps, understandable I guess.
4 players local looked like 30fps, understandable I guess.
They could easily implement this with DLC complete with Nintendo character themed tracks, a new "NintendoLand" DLC so to speak. The characters bro.
I'll bet you 1 million dollars that the game would sell more if it would be Mario Kart with all or most Nintendo characters driving in levels based on their IP. Instead of only Mario.
It would also encourage people to try the other IP's out. Like Smash does.
Sure, but I thought we'd get some info on the new vehicles, for example. Why are people driving lorry trucks and destroying the environment all of a sudden? Why are there UFO:s you can fly around in?mission mode?
Yeah, that definitely looks like baby Mario to me.Some Baby Mario costume?
For sure. But I'd rather see it being done as standard instead of always the full on Mario approach. They could easily implement this with DLC complete with Nintendo character themed tracks, a new "NintendoLand" DLC so to speak.
They probably want to save at least some ssurprise for when we actually play the game. I personally dont want to know every single thing about the game yet.Sure, but I thought we'd get some info on the new vehicles, for example. Why are people driving lorry trucks and destroying the environment all of a sudden? Why are there UFO:s you can fly around in?
Maybe there's no purpose and it's just 'there' for fun. But it's weird.
Yeah, that definitely looks like baby Mario to me.
4 players local looked like 30fps, understandable I guess.
I have never understood why Nintendo doesn't do the Smash Brothers thing for Mario Kart.
Who doesn't want to drive as Link, Samus or Pikachu?
Would sell way more units for sure. The Mario world is too unfamiliar for majority of people.
Driving through a Metroid world, a Pokemon world etcetc.
Now it's all Mario, Mario, Mario. It's a waste of IP.
Absolutely. And it would sell even more if you could play as Pikachu and if you could drive on a Pokemon track.Because if everything Nintendo releases goes the Smash route then the novelty wears off.
Mario Kart 8 sold twice as many copies as Smash Ultimate.
4 players local looked like 30fps, understandable I guess.
Exactly, this was the time to show it. To show special events for Xmas, etc. How this game will evolve over time. You would be a fool to think this game doesn't have planned future support and DLC for at least 2 years.
Though Nintendo did miss a perfect opportunity to announce it and at no additional costs.
Everyone I know (and every "react" video I've seen posted) lost their shit during the Switch 2 direct at the Cow reveal. I think you're underestimating the appeal of the Mario reveal and the novelty to some of these cutesy side characters that would certainly not be included in a "Smash Kart"Absolutely. And it would sell even more if you could play as Pikachu and if you could drive on a Pokemon track.
Also, everything? I'm only talking about Mario Kart doing the Smash thing. Nobody gives a s F about most Mario characters except the more famous one.
Nintendo has much more valuable characters and IP than the damn Cow.
I give you the cow. But more people want Pikachu in a cart than the damn Cow mate.Everyone I know (and every "react" video I've seen posted) lost their shit during the Switch 2 direct at the Cow reveal. I think you're underestimating the appeal of the Mario reveal and the novelty to some of these cutesy side characters that would certainly not be included in a "Smash Kart"
It's intelligent from a casual standpoint. The more deep they go into Nintendo lore, the more casual gamers are alienated.Everyone I know (and every "react" video I've seen posted) lost their shit during the Switch 2 direct at the Cow reveal. I think you're underestimating the appeal of the Mario reveal and the novelty to some of these cutesy side characters that would certainly not be included in a "Smash Kart"
Your concept of having fun is not the same for everyone, you seem unable to grasp this way of thinking. You can see why Nintendo is considered the best game developer ever.
They always think in ways to make the game more fun. Not bigger. More fun.
Other developers seem unable to grasp this way of thinking.
Explain.Your concept of having fun is not the same for everyone, you seem unable to grasp this way of thinking.
Clues in the title mate.I have never understood why Nintendo doesn't do the Smash Brothers thing for Mario Kart.
Who doesn't want to drive as Link, Samus or Pikachu?

What you consider fun, as I guess you did watching the Direct. It didn't seem fun to me, I had fun with Mario Kart on the SNES and N64. Now it doesn't look like fun to me. Everything looks so childish and cutesy, just looking at the character screen selection made me cringe.Explain.
Playable Pokemon characters in Mario Kart would make the game way more attractive.Clues in the title mate.
Also I don't think they could possibly sell "way more" than the last entry, that did what 70 million lol.
Clearly you have never played Bumber car basketball or whirlyball.
But then it wouldn't be Mario Kart you lunatic.Playable Pokemon characters in Mario Kart would make the game way more attractive.
I'm talking about general game design philosophy. Nintendo makes games with fun as the main factor. Sequels don't have to be bigger or whatever. Just more fun or at least more original and fun. What you consider fun, as I guess you did watching the Direct. It didn't seem fun to me, I had fun with Mario Kart on the SNES and N64. Now it doesn't look like fun to me. Everything looks so childish and cutesy, just looking at the character screen selection made me cringe.
I already said multiple times that Mario Kart should've been Nintendo Kart from the start. Not in name, but in execution. But then it wouldn't be Mario Kart you lunatic.
Fuck Pokémon, there is faaaaaaaaaar better choice.Playable Pokemon characters in Mario Kart would make the game way more attractive.
Exactly mate. They can easily implement a Kart version and use Xenoblade characters in MK.Fuck Pokémon, it here is faaaaaaaaaar better choice.

Seems to be doing just fine if you ask me.I already said multiple times that Mario Kart should've been Nintendo Kart from the start. Not in name, but in execution.
This is the perfect game to show of your IP and characters. Much more so than Smash Bros.
You're right mate. Zelda and Pokemon are only niche franchises. And like I said; it's a celebration of Nintendo and their IP in general. It will push people to games they otherwise wouldn't have played.Seems to be doing just fine if you ask me.
Every man and his dog knows these characters, Metroid etc not so much.
Grand Prix is exactly that for majority of MK series.A bit disappointed, I wanted a single player career or story mode.
