Holland made his introduction as Spider-Man in last summer’s “Captain America: Civil War.” He said it’s possible that the web-spinner may make another appearance in a future Avengers film after his upcoming standalone adventure hits theaters.

“It’s all up in the air,” said Holland. “I believe some sort of deal is in the mix, but I’m unclear as to what that deal is.”

I discovered this: Six Degrees of Agent Coulson. It's a "six degrees of separation" thingy with MCU characters. It's still in development, and it's crowdsourced, but it's neat.

TV shows aren't included yet, but did you know that Thanos is only 6 degrees from Claire Temple?
Thanos -> Loki Odinson -> Phil Coulson -> Carl Creel -> Jack Murdock -> Matt Murdock -> Claire Temple
.

If marvel wastes Mads, i'll be beyond dissapointed
If Strange is another vanilla origin story that sticks to the 'Marvel' formula then I have no hope in Feige to oversee an original and fresh marvel film.

Generic Malkieth tier villain 'OMG I WANT TO DESTROY THE WORLD' shit, He deserves better, and it's not hard to write a good villain considering Zemo was done well.
Derrickson has said he wants Kaecilius to be a villain with sympathetic motivations, someone you could see yourself agreeing with, so there's some hope

Just because Kaecilius visually looks a bit similar to Malekith and isn't that big of an antagonist in the comics doesn't mean he will be a throwaway villain here, or as poorly handled as Malekith was in Thor 2.

Mads is an amazing actor and I feel like he'll do a lot with what he's given, even if it's not much. But Strange is also Feige's favorite character and this movie has definitely been given extra love from him, I can't imagine they'll screw up the villain as well. None of the Marvel villains have really been outstanding so far, but some are definitely better than others and I could see this one ending up in the better category.

I hope the movie spans a few years like the trailer implies because I don't really like having heroes save the world in their origin stories.

Funny enough Mads was the original choice to play Malekith.

I do remember that and am glad it didn't come to pass. Although I also remember Malekith originally had a greater role anyways that apparently got cut to shreds in the editing room (not that the extra scenes would have really helped too much).

I'm betting the Spider-man sequel will be the movie that takes the place of where The Inhumans was. Sony's going to want to fast track a sequel as quick as possible.

I can't wait for the day that Vanity Fair puts together one of its massive photoshoots with every major actor and main character in the MCU.

Hell, that's be considered a full teaser trailer in most cases. We're going to get something more than that?

Maybe? The running time for the theatrical teaser listed above is 3 seconds longer than what's released. Could be the same. Could be a teaser for the teaser.

Well, Gunn said,

So the 1st #GotGVol2 trailer is coming soon; in the meantime we put together this special sneak peak for you.

Well, Gunn said,

Yeah. "Soon" for the first trailer could mean next week so it is attached to Doctor Strange...or this could be attached to Strange and the trailer could come out late next month/early Dec and be on Rogue One. Especially considering this is basically just the length of the confirmed Strange trailer without the studio logo.

No wonder Doctor Strange looks so insane

“He came in, he watched the movie. We are all big fans of his work, clearly. We at Marvel Studios are fans of Community, it’s where we found Joe and Anthony Russo, who came onboard to do Winter Soldier, and of course Civil War, and the upcoming [Avengers] films. So, we’re big fans of that. We’re also fans of his cartoon Rick & Morty, which is about, of course, humor, but I would argue that any given episode of that show has an unbelievably amazing sci-fi concept that could be its own movie. So, really, we just wanted him to watch the movie, and talk to us about it, and give us his opinions on the sci-fi concepts. That was as important to us as any humor that he could add to the movie. And he was very, very gracious in doing that.”
