Too bad it was confirmed that Bug didn't make the cut, although ironically that is appropriate. :p

Interesting that Bug was there in the early drafts but just got cut out later. To much green on the team maybe lol?

Also I'm like 95% sure now Adam Warlock will be teased in the film or turn up in some minor capacity.

An interview with Cap 2 screenwriters Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. Most interesting is that they're teasing a potential R-rated Marvel film. Punisher maybe?

I wouldn't read too much into that. An R-rated film would by commercial necessity have to have a much lower budget, and Marvel Studios pawning off Daredevil, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist to the TV division strongly indicates that they have no interest in making smaller-scale films outside the One Shots.

SHUT UP!! :(

I still want the following to Tomas Punisher after #DIRTYLAUNDRY.

Still mad as hell we won't get an OG Nick Fury movie. I like Sam and everything, he sells SHIELD's scumminess effortlessly and looks good with the patch, but I yearn for some MAX Fury action.

You think so? I feel like the MCU's SHIELD isn't nearly as shady or unethical as they ought to be, and that's even without the Mary Sue version of SHIELD we see on television. Sam Jackson is doing a great job, no argument there, but I don't think the character as written in the MCU can be called 'scummy.'

I'm not sure if Marvel Studios would do a theater released R rated movie, but maybe one that was direct to Netflix in collaboration with Netflix of course. As Netflix also wanted to venture into Original Films along with their TV efforts.

Might also open the door towards Fox finally taking the risk with that Deadpool movie that we've been asking to get made since we read that script that leaked a couple years ago.

only one R rated Marvel movie worth being made:

Marvel Studios will never make an R-rated film lol

I really dont think demon in a bottle is worth being made at all. Especially not in the cinematic universe theyve created. IM3 was basically an addiction story, but with suits instead of alcohol.

In my mind Thomas' Punisher is in the MCU and always will be. It's a perfect take on Frank Castle for the halfway plausible MCU setting.

I like to think of it that way too. They could put Jane in one of the shows or movies and nobody would bat an eye.

This Dutch website has a review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

It also reveals the post credit scene:

Baron Strucker, Quicksilver & Scarlet Witch confirmed

Here's the English translation:

EDIT: The article states that there's TWO end credit scenes.

I am weak and read the link. I really like the description for the second post credits scene.

Eh, I'll wait for some confirmation from another source. The first scene might just have a poorly written description, but it sounds like a pretty dull way of... uh, doing what it supposedly does.

That scene was already spoiled a month ago. How much more confirmation do you need?

Source?

There have been numerous rumors, which I generally believed, that one of the credits scenes would
introduce the twins
, but I certainly haven't seen these specifics before.

Also, and I said this about a previous set of "spoilers" that had a similar but different mid-credits scene described: on a narrative level alone, centering a scene around
three characters who don't appear at all in the film proper
seems pretty clumsy.

It could still be true, but I'll be disappointed if it is. The spoiler that had
the twins showing up to break Crossbones out of prison and deliver him to "the Baron"
sounded so much better.

welp, wasn't expecting those spoilers to also spoil the very end of the film too, as dumb as that sounds. :lol

Oh well, sounds pretty cool.

Can't say I'm disappointed at the spoilers since it sets up the next film taking place on earth.

I was hoping for something better though.
I really need to know what we are naming "mutants" in the MCU already too. I hope it's not "miracles" or something dumb, but some sources are saying that it'll be reveal in the post-credit scene.

Does the review actually spoil anything other than the post credit scenes? I want to read an actual review but avoid anything too revealing about the actual plot.

Ah, I somehow missed this.

All we know from both the films and AoS point to Fury being shady and devious like few others, playing several games at the same time on a single board. That said, it is true that SHIELD is not as shady as in the comics, which I blame squarely in the fact that they haven't shown lot from the inside as much as they should (and then there's also the problem of AoS shitting the bed).

So apparently so there was a press screening for Cap 2 and the Twitter response has been overwhelmingly positive, saying that it's the best Phase 2 and solo MCU film yet.

Sooooooo fucking hyped.
I never listen to Twitter reactions. Most of the time, the people giving reactions can't tell a good film from bad.
I'm not really sure what to make of this. That praise is so over the top.

I guess it's possible that the word of the off-the-charts test screenings might have actually been true.

It also bodes well that they are doing early screenings to build word of mouth:

Concept art for Winter Soldier. Obviously from the Cap exhibit at the Smithsonian. But why must they put the tease in the left corner about Operation: Zemo? Why must they torture me!?
