We don't even see the truck hitting him,
whatever happens to him after being thrown to the other side of the road
is not shown on camera. *

I don't doubt, that the way it was edited, the intention was to make it look like he was dead,
but if a future MCU work wants to bring him back, all he would need was long hospital stay,
or some MCU science.


[* or is this a situation like Avengers, where some version of the movie have a more graphical death]

In the Winter Soldier commentary track, the Russos make a point at calling out just how dead Sitwell is.

But if they really wanted to bring him back, I'm sure they could invoke all sorts of comic book science to make it happen.

You hear the truck hitting him though. And I don't think Sitwell is really important enough to where they're going to go faking his death and stuff.

While watching that scene again yesterday, I did not really pay attention to the audio.
now I did.
Yeah, you can hear a scream and a squish, yeah.

But I discovered something new.
When the camera is back on Natasha, I can hear some scream.
It sounds like "Oh god" and the voice is not unlike Sitwell's

I did not have the chance to listen to it.
Is it good?
Do they talk until the end?

Ah great.
The last Marvel Audio Commentary I listened to was Iron Man 3, and Pierce and Black were even asked to stop during the endcredits by another person (recording engineer I guess)

Do you happen to know the Thor Dark World commentary as well? Is it good?
I haven't bought the Blu-Ray, because I did not like the movie that much.
Does All Hail The King have one?

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is confirmed for that July 28, 2017 slot. So right now we don't know the movie between Doc Strange and GotG 2. (May 5, 2017)

Huh...I really don't see Avengers 3 being put out at any other time than the beginning of Summer. So...May 2018? Which puts 6 movies between A2 and A3. A year and three movies later doesn't seem likely, unless they really want to do that much universe and character building.

The big question is May 2017. That's a huge date, so they'll have a lot of confidence behind whatever they put there. I suppose the options are as follows:

IM4 - The one they'd have the most confidence in, but I don't see it being made
Female Led (Capt Marvel/BW) - They've been hesitant on this, a more likely candidate for the November date
Black Panther - Not unless they wind up with an amazing script and a lead that can fill seats.
Thor 3 - I really don't see the confidence being there for that.
A SHIELD movie - Could be promoted almost like a mini avengers
Inhumans - we know its in the works...just doubt we'd see it before A3

Oh, I don't think Thor 3 won't be made, only that they wouldn't give it the prime May date. I agree with Pai Pai that it'll most likely be the movie before Avengers 3, which puts it on the November date.

Hmmm...so May might be a new character, which could be Ms Marvel. I know I'd be happy. Then again, that would mean all three movies in 2017 are Cosmic or Cosmic-related.

I would love an Thanos movie so much, where we se how he he sets himself up over all the years, why the avengers should fear him and so on
