My guess is that you'll fight Ultron and Sigma as a team and then they'll combine in a short cutscene into one final boss. The pair could be playable in that case.

I wouldn't constitute Gambit as bare minimum, he's not even an essential X-Man in recent years. He's more-or-less a relic of the 90's. A cool relic, sure, but a relic nonetheless.

As for the quote, I still think you're being a bit too optimistic. I want to hope that we'll get Fox characters as well, but a somewhat-dodgy quote vs. the leaks from Eurogamer & Polygon affirming no Fox characters doesn't aspire much confidence. Maybe a little bit more hope for the best, as mentioned earlier, but far from the guarantee you're touting it as. Thankfully, the rest of the fanbase is putting the pressure on Marvel, so hopefully something will come out of that.

If the original developers are on the project, then I feel the game is in good hands. I'm just really excited for it. Especially due to X. I hear that many gaffers like X4 as their favorite. X3 is mine, then X2 and X1 and X6.

The only leak that said 2v2 plus assist was immediately called not completely reliable by the leaker. All the rest have been spot on.

I know that Eddie hasn't technically been Venom in the comics for a long time, which is why he got excluded from MVC3, but that hasn't stopped him from showing up in recent games like Disney Infinity or Contest of Champions, with the Venom symbiote still intact.

Only d3v's leak said assists, though. And even then, d3v came out immediately after putting up that post saying that it may not be that reliable. Polygon & Eurogamer are still spot-on, which kinda concerns me for the fate of the Fox characters in the base roster.

Because of this, I'm still gonna proceed with cautious optimism. I'll hope for the best, but I'm expecting the worst.

Yeah, Eddie was the only highly requested out of the spotlight request for Marvel 3 that I really agreed with. Guy just looks cool even if you don't use him or like Spider Man.
