I just got in the first episode. Some real talent in front of and behind the camera on this one. And like 'Jones great atmosphere. Netflix is cranking out a great deal of variety quickly.

Holy crap Simone Missick is killing it in this show. Elevating the whole thing. Plus she is beautiful af.

I'd be down for a Misty Knight spin off show already and I'm only a few episodes in.

Who?

Hmm....google says that Misty Stone is a porn star.

Hah Misty Stone. Now we're talkin.

Anyways, I am watching ep 2 and I am kind of upset Marvel isn't integrating their TV shows into the larger cinematic universe. Cage would be terrific in an ensemble film cast, same for Jones and Murdock. Even some of the characters from Agents of Shield.

But back to the show, I am digging these
barbershop scenes. Great dialog. But oh look, I guess this is about to come to an end....

Do I need to bother finishing Daredevil S2 or should I just jump into Luke Cage? (I'll probably finish Daredevil later on if it's storyline isn't directly related in any way)

Didn't watch it yet, but I dreamed about watching the first two episodes last night and Luke Cage appeared briefly with the rest of it being about some white couples and then Luke riding a school bus and being singled out as the only black teen at the school. I was mad that the first episode was false advertising.

There is a fairly big Daredevil spoiler, so you might want to finish before watching Luke Cage. It's not going anywhere.

Just watched the first episode and I have to say, the vastly different tones and styles of these Marvel/Netflix shows is amazing. The guy who plays Luke is still perfect too.

Fucking Turk. He must be immortal.

Episode 2 was ok, in line with the pilot. Luke
shooting himself
looked pretty goofy at the end.
I'm still waiting for the show to pick up the pace. These episodes could have been much shorter. That's the Marvel Netflix syndrome I guess but it feels worse this time.

Misty Knight is certainly looking fine but the short-haired lady who regularly swings by the barbershop with her kid is goddamn perfect as well.

I'm going to be watching this like the characters in Hot Tube Time Machine.

Just finished episode 3 and, despite the ending, I kinda feel bad for Cottonmouth.
He didn't want Pops to end up dead and Chico was more at fault than anyone else (of those alive following the shooting, at least) for everything that happened.

Watched the first episode last night. Slower than I expected and some of the dialogue was kinda cheesy. Liked it though, will watch more this weekend.

Also, Misty Knight is hot as hell. My god.
