Grocery stores alreadly look like Zombieland.

No they don't. Other than for TP. I was at my local Costco today and there is plenty of canned food, bottled water, more fish than you can shake a stick at, and necessities. Then I went to my local Safeway and other than TP, they were fully stocked. For some reason people are freaking out about ass wipe. All other supply chains are fine.

I went to a Target, and two Alberstons. No cans of anything other than tomatoes. No frozen food expect pizza. They had some steak but no ground anything. They did have some whole chickens. Lots of greens but no potatoes. Dry goods almost completely wiped out.

Paper anything, yea right.

edit and just talked to my friend the Albertsons by his house is wiped out too.

South Korea's Vice Health Minister Kim Ganglip is in self-quarantine, after attending a government meeting last week with another participant who tested positive today.

The infected attendee is the president of Bundang Jesaeng Hospital in Seongnam City, Gyeonggi Province, where cluster transmissions have been reported at a church and a hospital.

Other government officials and participants at the meeting, which took place last Friday, are also in self-quarantine.

This comes as cluster transmissions continue in the country.
The country reported 93 new cases and 84 deaths on Wednesday -- still in keeping with. more general trend of decreasing infection rates, compared to hundreds of new cases a day just weeks ago. But the outbreak is far from over, with new clusters identified this week.

One major cluster is still in the southern city of Daegu, where the outbreak has been concentrated. In one hospital in Daegu, 74 cases have been confirmed.

Hell, I live in that city (Seongnam). What sucks is that you can't even go to the hospital anymore if you are feeling ill.

And Daegu is home to the compound that serves as the HQ for that cult (patient 31). So far, over 80% of all cases are centered around Daegu and its surrounding areas.

I was worried about my bad health but everyday 2-3 banks try to call me to collect on maxed out credit cards.

It is going to get hard on a lot of people so many jobs are knocked out.

I'm frustrated because this is getting a lot worse than I ever expected and the person I care for is elderly and sick. I'm normally pretty broke but now my work has come to a halt. I am making the claim that you didn't consider going to a Chinese centered grocery store up until now.

For some reason at my Costco, they get completely decimated of chicken every day, but somehow miraculously there's crates of them the next day. Almost like there's a stockpile. Hmmm. But I do love how you ignored my fish comment. Maybe I should go to my costco tomorrow and take a snapshot of how much fish (of all different types) is available that people completely ignore. And it's a hell of a lot cheaper than your ground beef that you so desperately want.

At 4pm yesterday at my Costco, there were roughly the following seafood (unfrozen):

15-20x salmon fillets
2x boiled Dungeness crab
4x king crab legs

That's it - nothing else. They had moved fruits and veggies into where beef, chicken, seafood are usually stocked. Didn't look at frozen since our freezer is full

I'm sorry that to prepare any fish is to first coat your dish with oil, put a splash of lemon juice in there, spice it up with salt/pepper/anything you want like a smoke paprika. Flip the fish a couple times so it gets the spices and the oil. Turn your oven on to 400 degrees, put it in for 20 minutes, pull it out and you have a delicious fish... or fishies.

Sure there are more delicate ways to prepare fish, but I declare that 400 degrees and 20 minutes will have your fish done and edible when you're on a timetable. Having them in the oil ensures that they won't get dry as all get out.

Edit: For those that are wondering, my 400 for 20 is for talapia, baramundi, and cod. I recommend putting some oil in your dish and then spice it up with whatever you're feeling creative with.

My local grocery store seems to have calmed a bit. Butter, milk, and frozen stuff was well stocked today and I was able to get everything for a chilly recipe that I needed except chicken

Someone mentioned on Twitter that drive in theaters should try for a comeback with summer coming and the isolated environment of a car allowing for a nice evening out without risk or disinfecting after. Digital only ticket sales with scanning of phones by a ticket taker would be sanitary too

I'm sorry you are having financial problems right now. I am too. In fact, I don't have a dollar in my pocket. But I'm not taking any checks they send out. If I'm mailed one, I'll tear it up. I do not support govt. bailouts of businesses or individuals. No where in the constitution of the USA does it claim that the government has any right to give money to private businesses or individuals. Now, when it comes to personal donations from one person to another, I'm all for it. People need to pool together and help each other. I would strongly urge you to look up food banks in your area - especially those ran by churches. If you call one of them and explain your situation, they might even meet you at the church even if their food bank isn't officially open.

Indeed. Almost like people should calm the fuck down. Asswipe is one of the USA's largest productions. We import 2% of asswipe. We have stockpiles to supply the whole world. But you dumasses are lining up because our trucks are only so big. There's a reason why Costco, Sam's Club, Safeway, etc have a fresh stock for you dumbasses to buy first thing in the morning.
