Yes i can. But not with the BLM org.

I do suppport the Black Lives Matter foundation though. I like their message.

BLM is not about equality or racisim so dont create the false equivalencey that not supporting BLM means i dont support equality.

BLMs platform is not about equality its purely political.

Its not as simple as that: You have other BLM leaders condemning violence at protests, there are several reports of Antifa and Anarchists showing up to push their own agenda. Also, there is an overwhelming number of people not affiliated with any particular group at these protests as well.

Everyone should be outraged at what happened to George Floyd but that doesnt mean they are BLM members or support BLM ideas. Personally, Im not even convinced its a racial thing, but watching a police officer murder a restrained citizen in the middle of the street makes my blood boil.

If conservatives organize a demonstration and some stupid Nazis show up there as well, then everyone who takes part in the demonstration is a Nazi. There has been more than enough of this generalization in recent years.
Since we want to be fair, the same rights should apply to everyone. Whoever participates in BLM demonstrations, regardless of their attitude, supports socialism, violence, murder, looting, censorship and fascism.

I understand what you mean, but you have to question the intelligence of these people. Objectively, it is quite easy to understand that BLM is purely political and in fact has no real substance at all.

Guilt by association is a problem across the board. Just because the left does it, doesnt mean the right should be doing it too. If we play the guilt by association game then these movements of crazies will appear much larger than they actually are (this is what is happening now)

I'm personally very curious to see how they handle things tomorrow.
Indoor stadium seating with cheering and yelling. That's a recipe for a spreading event, and the people on the ground are most at risk.

I don't think Trump will wear a mask, so the next best option is to create barriers like in stores. I hope they have significant protections in place.

Do you think they will?

Your proving my point. You don't have to support BLM to be against racisim or police brutality. I do not support BLMs radical narrative or their use of terror and violence to push their agenda. Its not a binary choice, and BLM is not mutually execlusive with being against racisim or the sole representative and arbitrator of black people and racisim.

I would like to see receipts of BLM leaders condemning the violence please. But it needs to be real condemenation, not well we think its bad but its the voice of the voiceless or its just frustraded people lashing out etc... I want a real condemnation from them not a half hearted or back handed one. I am open to reading these condemnations from the BLM leadership.

I have to wonder where was BLM when David Dorn was shot? I didn't see any BLM at Dorns march during his funeral.

Bring me the receipts about BLM caring about Justine Diamond. BLM has one focus and thats white cops against blacks that is it. Pigs in a blanket fry em up and what do we want dead cops, pretty clear what their message is. They even said that a black cop isn't black anymore, their BLUE. BLM now thinks it can decide peoples blackness. RACIST.

6 weeks ago we had politicians and the entire media painting a group of protesters as racist Nazi's, all of them. The governor literally called them misogynist nazi's.

Everyone who supports these protests has the sin on their soul. You support the protest you defacto support the rioters, and the murder of David Dorn, Patrick Underwood and the countless others who have been killed by these senseless acts of terrorism.

I wonder if they will put them up behind Trump (there is always people behind him) and in front of the stage.

Problem is that the violent side can't and won't listen to reason. They have already gotten what they want through violence and the rest of the US is to paralyzed by fear to do anything.

I'm not sure how I ended up defending BLM as I dont agree with pretty much any of their politics either but they're out there man, here is just one.

I never said you have to support BLM or their agenda. My point was that there is no central leadership of whats happening on the streets. Hell, BLM doesnt even have central leadership so what one chapter leader says might be conflicted by another chapter leader. Yeehaw's post seem to imply that everyone that was angry enough over George Floyd to take to the streets was a terrorist, which is stupid and bullshit.

Are BLM members responsible for some of the rioting and damage? Probably. but cant anyone claim they are part of BLM? If someone is got on video spray painting BLM on a car, wouldnt they be reported as a BLM member? Realistically, there are several groups and non group affiliated individuals that are out there and some of which are pursuing their own agenda or are just using the unrest as an opportunity to loot.

One of the biggest issues plaguing discourse today is the issue of laying all the blame at the feet of whoever they can get it to stick on. BLM gets the most press, so they get the biggest portion of the blame. Just like a few instances of police brutality seem to get attributed to every cop in America. There is this overwhelming tendency to paint things with the widest brush possible but things are not that cut and dry, and this is unworkable for any hope of progress.

To be expected with places reopening and "protests". Hopefully it doesn't get out on control and hospitals aren't flooded with patients. The lockdown was successful in keeping hospitalization numbers down, I feel like they have to let this play out to see what happens with the numbers if we don't lockdown

In a type 1 diabetic so this still makes me sad hearing this. I wish he would have found out way before this. It's very difficult to control your blood sugar when Ill. We require more insulin when sick, so it's not surprising his blood glucose levels rose so high when Ill and not being treated with insulin. Such a shame. RIP.

Taking this seriously would be monitoring the positive cases with controls for testing increases, age and asymptomatic. Then comparing against various flu seasons. Also look at ICU admissions for the Virus and deaths, while making sure the admins aren't creating false numbers to game the system.

People will do things to exploit anything in either direction. Treat the question like you're dealing with human beings because you are.

And look at secondary impacts. (Mental health, suicide increases, damage done via the suspension of elective surgeries, etc.)

I know they accuse the public of not taking the virus seriously when they're going out, but to randomly spat number increases for confirmed cases without any of the other vital contextual information is not taking the virus seriously either.
