Legion was very very poor. Already mentioned it once before in this thread, but come on man, you really think they handled him well? The way he joins shepard pretty much boils down to "Hi I'm a talking geth that's from a splinter faction of the geth, and we weren't part of the evil geth that worked for sovereign, can I join your crew?" and shepard saying "Sure, I trust you enough!"

One of the worst parts in the game for me :p

Just about the go into the final mission, I'm around 40 hours in. Even before finishing this it's easily one my favorite games all time. There's a few flaws and some things could have been better, but overall this is such a damn good game. I don't think there's a single crew/squad member that I don't like. Hopefully Bioware releases some DLC packs that add new missions & areas on some of the bigger places like
Illium, Omega, and the Citadel.
They're all so well done it'd be a shame not to go back via some DLC.

Oh, and I had to laugh at Mordin's
singing
. I was not expecting that at all. :lol

I found it funny that the way they hyped him up in the developer diaries was that he was hunting Shepherd down, but when you get in game it didn't turn out that way at all

Oh shit, not that part, that was horrid how they brush so many issues under the carpet: lack of reaction from Tali about him and EDI was full of fail. Not to mention where they fucking placed him.

Also the general stuff: EDI, Legion, Cerberus, The Council, ETC

No, I mean what they did AFTER that (the conversations).

Because if we are going to bitch about recruitment, then a couple of the others need to be looked at as well (Including Samara and Tali).

Where do I get all of the model ships at for my cabin? I have all of them but one. The one between the Asari ship and the Turian ship.

It was funnier when Kaiden and Liara were fighting over me. Still can't believe Kaiden turned down the threesome offer.

nope, it's made pretty clear that while the collectors are based on prothean dna, the reaper's have twisted them so much that by this point they are little more than the human equivelant of husks.

I remember grabbing one for free on a side N7 mission aside from the others you can buy all over where you board a ship thats been hi-jacked by the Blue Suns to retrive cargo for Cerberus, not sure if its one you can buy as I think its the only one I have...

Another suggestion for pursuing the Warp/Overload/Incineration specialist achievements: set difficulty to hardcore. Commons enemies come with a weak barrier/shield/armor that goes down with one use. You can get all 25 in less than a loyalty mission.

Also, hardcore is still too easy at level 25, I may bump it up to Insanity.

Not at all, I found that sequence to be laughable at best. Felt like the writers got stuck wondering how they'd
get Shepard and everyone else with a weapon off of the Normandy for a few minutes just to kidnap the crew.
It came off as extremely lazy and annoying. But so far, thats the only REAL issue I have with the game.

That team works together so well, especially after you get their special skills. Shredder / Armor Piercing ammo was ridiculous.

As an Infiltrator, I've found using Jack and Gerrus are great team mates. I have Jack with fully spec'd out shockwave and Gerrus between his passive skill and concussion bullets.

What combo's are you guys using as Infiltrators? Game is soooooo good.

I seem to have planet scanning OCD btw so I really really need to get the ship upgrade that allows you to scan faster. I hold down LT and scan the whole damn planet :(

Wow I never played the first one because I didnt have a PC at the time but bought ME2 on a whim and I am in love with this game 4 hours in. The characters are all amazing. It is much better done than dragon age imo.

Im really liking the game the shooting is so god damn good...I think they found a real equilibrium between shooter and rpg. Some of my friends didn't like the fact that they stripped away some of the rpg elements, but I couldn't of been happier.

Mordin has died twice. He's always the only one to go, going to try it one more time and take him with me

I just finished this game. I always get disappointed with myself because this game was so epic and I won't be able to get the feeling back playing it again unless I discover new dialogue.

After Ending Thoughts:

The exact ending was fucking great. Seeing all of the Reapers coming into towards the Milky Way. I was hoping that we'd be able to go out to some of the Reapers because of how far you can move the cursor on the Galaxy Map.

The Joker mission was pretty awesome but my problem, like everyone else, was that it was way to forced. Why the fuck would we all get off onto a shuttle for NO MISSION SELECTED.

I also heard there would be an earth mission but I guess that was wrong.

I made Morbin go through the pipes and he was the first one to die. The second part I had Jack do the biotic field and rolled with Miranda and Legion. Legion ended up dying :( He quickly became my favorite but sucked he had to go. Then on the last part I rolled with Thane and Garrus. Both are fucking pimp. Jack was the last one to go.


As for the whole Legion thing, I think it worked out pretty well. I understand what they were going for. Geth are one in the same but some branched off because of the virus and worshiped the Old Machines. Did seem eerie Shephard was so reluctant to add him but what do you know, I was a Paragon and was naive to whatever the fuck.


Can't fucking wait for ME3.... :lol

I think I'm going to take a short break and then start up a new Campaign as either a Soldier or Infiltrator. Seeing
Thane
was just to badass. His side mission was definitely my favorite.

Wow, this game keeps coming up with amazing new locations to visit. As much as I loved Mass Effect 1, the only really interesting place outside of the Citadel was Feros. Mass Effect 2 has already done far better and I'm only 15 hours into the game.

I only wish that we could also revisit the areas from the first game.

Man that sucks! I've been scouring every fucking part of each level looking for new weapons -_- why the hell didnt they have no weapons! i know you can upload every weapon, but i'd like some more variety!

Okay just beat it. Just wow... Just wow... That's how you do a final mission. So nerve-racking.

I had to beat it so I wouldn't run into floating spoilers out there. I have to take it all in. RPG of the year.

Gonna' take my time with my 2nd play-through, but 1st play it with a male Shepard this time. :D
