Damage Reduction and Damage Taken Increase? I suppose the last part is for enemies inside the bubble? Otherwise, it doesnt make much sense.

That's what I would guess too.

As for the duration, 39 seconds is great, but it's not like it's ideal to sit in one position for too long either.

Perfect for the hacking zone waves though. And with such a long duration, we wont have to worry about spamming it every 5 secs.

Totally confused by the sphere power. What would make sense is that it reduces damage to those inside the bubble and also reduces the damage they deal to enemies.

Yeah, that's basically the main reason for it. And if there are rounds without a hacking objective (or even for those with, say, the max of 3) then she's limited for all the other waves.

I'm curious to see how big it actually is, but it sounds like its overall usefulness will be very limited.

I dunno, it could also be good for defending a spot during the extraction wave. Or even the hacking devices objectives, put the bubble on the guy doing the hacking, and camp in cover next to him. Or for people camping spots like that room in Firebase White on gold.

I think we should give her a chance before putting her aside.

Seems like its best to wait for the promotional pack to spam rather than the Spectre packs.

Also, does this confirm that all new characters and weapons are Gold (Rare)?

From a Q&A video I saw, they made it sound like when you were in the bubble you would take less damage and anything you're shooting at that's outside the bubble will take more damage.

Don't you guys love it when you enter a match and you have 3 of the same class, and no one goes "Um, maybe I should switch." idiots

Ugh two times in a row that some jerk rabbles on and on PSN. "you stole my kill" "you think you're all that with that geth rifle?"

How do I shut them up? I don't see a button. Oh please I need a button

Not sure I like Condor so much, it has those pesky invisible walls from the moon mission in the SP. Evac zone was right on the edge of the map too.

Anyone else having issues with shooting blanks? Played some rounds now and it happened a lot, both with the Widow and Cobra Missiles. I see the effect but they don't take any damage. Game wasn't laggy at all otherwise.

If I quickmatch as Infiltrator and enter a lobby with two Infiltrators I obviously go for something else, but most often I'm not given the chance before I'm booted out. :p

Don't get me wrong, I'm not dismissing the class, and definitely it could be handy in those situations you described. I'm just looking at this through the lens of how it stands up next to the other classes.

However, with those same situations you described... with proper spawn control those can be made much easier (and pretty much the whole game in general).

Like on Firebase Giant... for the extraction wave I always sit in that room with the ladder directly across from the extraction point. This prevents enemies from spawning there, meaning they have to spawn from either the lower left ramp or from the room on the far end of the map.

The bubble definitely has more usage than just the hacking, without a doubt; the very short cooldown helps a ton there too. But it doesn't change the fact that the Justicar is still (on paper) a weaker class than her two closest comparisons, the Drell & Asari Adepts.

If I ever entered a match with three human engineers, you know I'm also going human engineer. Chain overload for days.

Also weaker than the Human Sentinel. Even human adept can spec shockwave/warp

Wonder if the SMG is somehow decent. First item of the bunch I got.

I thought Justicars had Pull & Reave, which is considered one of the best thing about Drell Adepts? Or is it all about the Cluster Grenades?

Hopefully they dont have the same sound glitch as drell adepts.

Firebase Hydra is amazing.

The moon level is super poo

I love it(moon level) purely for the fact that it's the most different of all the maps. Big, dark, rocky hills and layers of barracks to hide around and jump down from. Nothing more satisfying than being a Quarian Infiltrator on top of the giant rocky hill on the farthest edge, sniping down at the very bottom of the map. The atmosphere is incredible too. Such awesome scenery. One of my favorite parts of single player is almost as impressive in MP.

Any standard biotic combo (that isnt a suspension skill followed by a detonator) sucks much more in MP due to all the shielding enemies have on higher difficulties. Its why the Human Adept isnt great. It rocks bronze like no one else but can it take down Atlases or Primes like an Asari or synergize like a Drell? Nope

Drell is great cause pull disarms guardians and helps finish off a stasised phantom super quick with no fuss. Reave gives aoe source damage, allowing other biotics and vanguard to blow the shit out of everything and AOE reave plus cluster grenades is the greatest panic button in the game.

Not got a beloved Batarian yet but I did get a Geth Engineer and I think it's pretty awesome. Maxed the turrets healing abilities and while its damage is pretty much inconsequential, it boosting your shields when damaged is a life safer on gold. Also helps human vanguards spam nova like they are possessed. :)

Also got a Geth Infiltrator but judging from its abilities I think there are better options available.

Well, you could use Warp and throw a Shockwave (for biotic explosions) hoping you're close enough of your target before you get killed. Lol.

It's the combination of the three that makes the Drell Adept so good. Pull/Reave is one of the quickest (if not THE quickest) biotic explosions in the game and eliminates basic troops with ease. Then Reave/Cluster Grenade does immense amounts of damage to large units, as well as the grenades also being the best at huge amounts of area damage as well.

Add in damage reduction from Reave, the Drell's natural mobility, and you've got the highest DPS class in the game.

The issue with Pull/Reave is it's worthless against shielded targets, but Cluster Grenades negate that weakness... the Justicar has no such ability (unless the shield bubble gives extra damage to protection somehow).

Also, what is this sound glitch? Everyone says it's a "glitch" but it works as intended (in my experience).... Reave lasts for 10-15 seconds and the sound goes away after 10-15 seconds. It's just that the skill is so good (with a very short cooldown) you're constantly recasting it to keep the benefits up.

Hmm doesnt shockwave go through walls? This might be interesting on White. I think I'm gonna turn my female adept into a shockwave one.

The sound is omnipresent and doesnt go away if the target is killed. Also people just plain hate the sound it makes.

Total poo.

Oh, and THIS :(

It lasts because of the damage reduction. Just because your target dies doesn't mean your damage reduction goes away.

And "a terrible sound" isn't a glitch.

Its not working as intended, even Bioware said so. You're not supposed to have a sound so loud you can hardly hear a Cerberus dude near you, or so loud you can hear another Drell Adept's Reave that is on the other side of the map as if he was next to you.

If the "glitch" is volume is too loud, then yes, I would agree that's a problem. I'm still able to hear environmental noises though, but now I'm curious to test at home to see if it muffles it.

Not like what HK-47 specified though, where it persists after the target dies.

Not sure why you defend the Reave sound so much, its clearly bugged. Surely you dont think that hearing the Reave from a Drell Adept who is on the other side of the map like if he was in the same room as you is normal. You never noticed that?

Yes, it does. I haven't played my Human Adept in a long time, but I used to take advantage of that quite often.

Singularity and Shockwave could both use some buffs. (For that matter, the Shockwave Radius bug really needs to get fixed.) Human Adepts can be a really fun class, but their power selection just has too many drawbacks for Gold.

I'm still tryna figure out why he's defending it too.

BioWare themselves even admitted it's glitched and he's all "nope. it's fine"
