I don't understand why so many wusses like to dance around with magic powers or let robots do their all fighting for them.

Just shoot them in the head while you're invisible, and they're on fire and/or frozen. And then make a robot do your fighting for you.

Shooting while invisible makes you a greater wuss.

I chose Zaeed for one of the missions and he failed. :/

Let me guess, you chose him as a leader. The same guy who said "Let all these poor workers die horribly in a fire just so i can kill that mercenary who pissed me off 20 years ago."

Papercuts

fired zero bullets in the orphanage.
I heard if you import an ME2 character it retains the level, so basically I would start 3 at level 30? Wonder how that'll work for people who comparatively start at level 1.

Well that doesn't mean much. Miranda can do the job properly and she's fairly selfish. For instance, she refuses to help people wounded during the ship attack (if you don't buy all upgrades) and yet she can be a good second leader.

Hey, I let them know where I am. I make a sound like the universe is being destroyed every time I fire my gun. It's just hard to hear the report, since it's a half second after the skull is vaporized.

Zaeed tells stories of leading a squad into a mission and having everyone else die.

Be lucky that only Zaeed got killed this time.

He also has a story about going to a bar and losing his entire squad or something ridiculous like that. :lol

I played as a engineer during ME2, had a blast.

Engineer in ME2 is awesome aside from having awful gun choices. That exploding drone was way too good. Throw it, enemy turns to fight it, you shoot them in the back, drone explodes, you toss another. Made lots of fights much easier. They have turrets now too right? So awesome.

Gonna be hard deciding which class to play, I've played all but Soldier so I got a feel for all of them. I've narrowed it down to Adept, Infiltrator, and Engineer but I haven't decided yet.

I said it after ME2 came out, and I'll say it again: I hope there's a new dividing up roles section in the endgame that gives us a new "Thane in the Vents."

"WTF wrex is strong and healthy so i gave him command over the medical bay and they alld ied???"

You mean like Garrus getting all of his team killed :p

Garrus's team died because someone betrayed them, and Garrus wasn't even with them.

Zaeed's team died because Zaeed is a selfish, hard-ass bastard who doesn't give a shit about other people. Oh, and he led them to their deaths.

This would only work if the selection screen named the role something like "Medical Scientist Genius".

In a just and fair world Shepard would be the chump that gets betrayed on some shithole planet while Garrus saves the galaxy.

Jessy just wanted to kill more people.

Vanguard is the answer. :p Charge + shotgun is good times, as well as Pull. Vanguard works wonders with a couple Snipers like Thane and Garrus having your back. I beat the game on Hardcore using that sort of party line-up and the combat was quite fun.

Does anyone else use the Logitech mouse software thingy to reassign tilting the mouse wheel left/right to commanding your two companions to take a new position?

Well that wasn't exactly what I meant. What I wanted to show is that there are obviously red herrings in there so you won't succeed on the first time and trying to justify why a choice is good simply based on story reason isn't always valid.

Miranda isn't a terribly good leader in the game. Jack doesn't respect her and she's shown much more as a doctor working on the Lazarus project and doing paperworks than being a squad leader. She's also fairly selfish and will do what is required to get the mission done. She pretty much refuses to look for survivors in the base at the beginning of the game because everyone is expendable and also refused to help survivor if the Normandy gets trashed in the end. Yet, she's a good choice for the team leader in the end. On the other hand, even if the game keep talking about how her genes and biotic powers are superior to everyone, she's not good to the biotic shield part.

Garrus has been damaged from his failure at leading his team and you even get a message from one of the wife of an ex-member from said team talking about how his confidence was shaken by that incident. You could think he shouldn't be the one in charge for psychological reasons and yet he will do fine.

These are only two examples but you can do that for many of them. Of course some choices are rather obivous but some aren't.

Zaeed is one of the best characters in the game, but he's not the right choice for anything but escort.

I learned that the hard way.

I think it was for a team leader yeah. I figured that since he once lead a team he would be okay, but I forgot that he wasn't a very good leader. lol

Don't we get to choose class separately for MP? I have yet to try the MP btw. How is it?

Yes you get to choose race and class separately in MP. Just most people have gotten a feel for the different classes in the MP so far since the SP fucked things up by forcing full weapons loadouts and is just short. So most talk about the classes has all been MP focused and thus Sentinels havent gotten much love because they arent a strong MP class, but that shouldnt matter in the SP.

As well the MP is fantastic, even with the just the single enemy type and the two maps available, its been incredibly fun and addictive. Unlock odds are a bit severe, so getting new races unlocked for the different classes has been tough, but its still very rewarding when you do get one.

See, that's why the whole loyalty thing works for Garrus. If you help him get over his issues, he becomes an effective leader. But you need to help put all that stuff in the past.

Shitstorm brewing over at BSN because of the leaked endings to the game... funny to watch all that nerd rage.
Haha, of course they are raging. They would rage whatever the endings were. I fully expect them to rage even harder over however Tali's face looks. :lol

I hope it's possible to get squad mates perma-killed in ME3, because I know what I'm gonna do with Ashley and Kaiden.

Keep forgetting to pre-order. Need to get that done sometime this week.

I normally don't do it anyway, but the collector's editions are all dead at the moment?

Can probably find the PS3 one for pre-order somewhere, and the Digital Deluxe PC one pretty much anywhere. The 360 is the ultra-rare one at this point. For that, you'll probably have to go out early Tuesday and check stores for extra copies.
