DA2 was the weirdest gaming experience ever for me, i could see al the flaws and why it was crap, but somehow i couldn't stop playing it. I even finished i twice.
Well, I didn't finish it twice, but I did finish it. I couldn't look away.

I had Garrus keep mentioning how Prothean Athane looked during final parts of Thesia and it got me wondering. Does the Prothean in the DLC add anything else to this?

Yes. He flat out teases and belittles Liara about the fact Protheans were their gods.
Look at you being wrong!
Yeah, I agree, and I'm also sympathetic to that. If the fans had their way they'd make BioWare churn out Mass Effect games non-stop. As developers, and people, they're probably tired of working on the same damn game and universe year after year and, wrapping up the trilogy, likely wanted to leave it be for a while. End the Shepard trilogy and take a break to do other stuff.
They just happened to do it in the laziest, douchiest and worst written way possible.
Do you still get the confrontation between Liara and Javik if you didn't take Javik with you to Thessia?
Nah, mages could do some major damage as well. They are even quite decent in close combat. You just can't stand around in one place for too long, because they are more fragile.the only way to play da2 is to have hawke be a warrior imo
they were actually fun to play as
and they aoe mowed shit down super easily, meaning the waves of fuckers werent annoying
cant even imagine it as a rogue or mage tbqh
i kinda liked da2
it was a shittier mass effect with swords
What confrontation? The only one I can remember is the one on Thessia, and that was just Javik giving her cold hard facts special delivered in the form of a knuckle sandwich.Do you still get the confrontation between Liara and Javik if you didn't take Javik with you to Thessia?
I don't understand all this DA2 talks. I've only have played the mass effect series. I feel left out. If I was gonna get into DA, should it be DA:O?

Yeah. It was the first time Javik stopped acting like a douchebag.
I had Garrus and Liara with me. When you return to the ship Liara flips out and biotic rages at Javik in his quarters.
No idea if it happens if you bring him along.

I brought him along, and that scene never happened for meI had Garrus and Liara with me. When you return to the ship Liara flips out and biotic rages at Javik in his quarters.

Wow! This game really does have a lot of different layers. I somehow missed all of that. I took him with me on every mission, but I would have remembered that if it happen while I was playing. She threatens him with an ass kicking unless he says he made it all up after Thessia. Javik then tells her the Asari are special, and that is why they did what they did. Then you ask him if that is the truth, and he is all "I told her what she wanted to hear."
This of course leads to speculation. But this kind of speculation is acceptable.

Your Joker pilot insists that I call myself Prothy the Prothean. I insisted he allow me to throw him out the airlock.
you'd think an archaelogist and prothean expert wouldn't be so upset or surprised about an ancient outdated religion turning out to be ancient astronauts
Yeah, she refused to believe it a bit to vehemently.you'd think an archaelogist and prothean expert wouldn't be so upset or surprised about an ancient outdated religion turning out to be ancient astronauts
If you don't interrupt with Shepard, Liara will leave still pissed and he wont be able to say anything so...
What. Explain how. They're actually talking about this ending BS on CNN right now.
I'm serious...
Yes. You have to take him with you.
Another piece of evidence that Javik was intended to be a companion all along.

Holy.. and I missed itThey're actually talking about this ending BS on CNN right now.

Like how zaheed was for me2, correct? Thanks for that!
Damn shame they had to put him behind paid DLC. I'd rather if he'd been included instead of the MP for registering your ANN/Online pass.
What. Explain how.

Oh my, can the resistance really win? If word gets out how utterly bad the ending of this game is, this could cost EA future sales. They may have no choice but to seriously address this. lolThey're actually talking about this ending BS on CNN right now.

PTSD Asari? Is that the one in the reception area at Huerta? I never got to interact with her, what was I missing?

I would imagine the charity aspect would be the focus. I mean the rage is quite epic, but not really nation news worthy.
She tells a story about how her crew landed on a colony world, a good friend of hers turned into a husk, and basically everyone (including a young human child) was turned into husks, lots of death, rarr rarr. It's heavily implied (or outright stated) this is the same colony world Joker's family lives on.
She keeps telling her Asari friend that she'd feel safer with a gun, even though she's clearly paranoid and suffering PTSD. A request pops up on your Spectre terminal and, if you authorise it and issue her a gun, she disappears, having committed suicide.
Was there supposed to be a crew member in the life support bay or empty? the only character i kicked off the ship was Zaeed in ME2 cause he was dreadful.
Like how zaheed was for me2, correct?
That's where Javik is I think.
A few things. She is one of the few characters that actually disappear after she has run out of conversation options. The only one, I think?
According to BSN and reddit, she actually says the girl is name Hilary, which is the name of Joker's theory, which pretty much locks it down.
Also, another subtle thing. There are two dead Quarians that talk about their son. Both of them talk about Jona as their son. Sorry Jona, your parents are DEAD!
Luckily Jona is probably dead too, so its not too bad for him.A few things. She is one of the few characters that actually disappear after she has run out of conversation options. The only one, I think? So she is gone regardless of what you choose. And choosing to authorize results in suicide, loss of war assets. Not sure what happens otherwise. Maybe nothing?

Jona's mom died in ME2 though
