I still haven't gotten the Insanity achievement though.
I'm sorry if that hurts my cred.
I've put about 500 some odd hours into both ME1 and 2 Heavy. If Bioware was nice they would have asked me to test ME3 out for a few hundred hours. I can break those games like few others given enough time, caffeine, and lack of sleep.
I'm definitely a lover of the series regardless of how crap I think their stories are. Have you killed every monkey on Eletania in ME1? I have. It does nothing.
I've exploited the Paragon glitch there, but honestly that's weak sauce compared to the Noveria glitch. There's an interesting set of XP glitches on the outside of the Citadel during its takeover. Two long corridors will infinitely respawn Geth Destroyers. On the crest of hitting 60 on a single playthrough that exploit can get your over the threshold in a pinch. They give relatively low XP though so you have to stay a while if you're far enough away.
They along with KotOR are the only games I've ever been able to play over and over with massive differences in each playthrough. From story, to very gameplay.
Seriously man, I love this series. They could have had a single story option at the end and I'd still likely enjoy the game more than the most ardent early adopting fan.
But I know Biowares limits. I might get thousands of hours of enjoyment out of them, but I don't consider their games worth $60. Ain't I just a weird little monkey?
