Just realized I think I never resisted the urge to hit any renegade or paragon interrupt.
Pretty sure I hit them all.
So glad I don't play 100% renegade/100%paragon would be so boring imo.
Sorry just noticed this post.
I don't play ME for the story. I've kept myself in the dark on most character cutscenes (those are some of the only parts of ME I find entertaining in a story sense), but after the anger and disillusionment started on the ME3 ending I had to see it. And as a pay off? It really comes up lacking.
But the story isn't in it's beginning or end, it's everything in between.

The Mass Effect 3 ending makes you feel like that guy who died racing to the South Pole only to find out he was already beaten there by his rival. You get no time to enjoy the fruits of your labor because of your immediate and utter disappointment. In the words of the illustrious Mac Walters, it's not the destination that matters, but the journey that brings you there.

The best dancing is in ME2.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFnxMzK3CTQ
Hah, Steve and Shepard dancing made me for some reason, such bad dancing.
If the first DLC mission they release is some random Shepard mission (ex. taking back Omega) would you buy it? I'd love to experience more stories ect, but I don't think I could until the ending is addressed; either full confirm they wont add to it or confirm they will.
That's what Vega is there for, duh.
LOL. I hated the reason for her to be there (joker love fanservice), I hated the fucking excuse for her to have a ready made sexy body, I hated that they play out the sexy shit so many times during the game, yet... I actually liked when she was around and in fact used her more often than not.

Lovely.
EDIT: How do they fix the ending? With stargeezer, joker on some planet and shepard 'alive' somehow...where the fuck do they go?

When it happens, this will be recorded in the history of gaming as one of the biggest consumer victories and turnarounds ever, influencing pretty much how everything is handled in the future.
Finally beat it and I have no idea what to think. I don't even know what the hell I just watched. I'd probably be more pissed off if I wasn't so hooked into the multiplayer. Game was still a lot of fun but the whole end of the game was meh.
Except for the end, which has enraged a few.Which is fucking scary.
But honestly, ME3 was pretty much one big Fanpander.

After the rage comics, Dietz brought joy to the world. Plus, not that many people read the books. I don't think we can say the same for Walters.I think Walters and Dietz had a bet who could piss off the most Mass Effect fans.
Would you mind making a few screenshots? I'd like some clean images for the collection.Just finished reading Final Hours.
Dear lord, that is some depressing, depressing shit.
I can see why they left out the conversation with the Catalyst, but... everything else was just.... they actually thought they were making High Art. Something that would change the very industry.
Mac Walters' writing process.... oh my God... what.... I can't even....
It confirms what I've thought for a long time: that BioWare gives their writers way too much authority.

That's basically Kai Leng. One of the best ideas I've read for a missed opportunity: a fake Shepard (a hallucination or Cerberus clone/android/VI, or indoctrination thing) that takes the opposite stance as you on the biggest choices and mocks you for them.
I don't necessarily want things that are hilarious per se, just things that are as HP_Wuvcraft said, "depressing, depressing shit." The Catalyst/high level stuff, would be nice. Also, a better version of the sketch with The Matrix and Shep's essence. If my asshole room mate lets me use his iPad tomorrow I will post some, but there's nothing really hilarious in there except for the original design doc. They basically wanted make a mainstream Phantasy Star Online. Even if they didn't realize it at the time. I should emphasize the word mainstream since it shows up in the image like six times.
He'll never outlive his infamy. That's basically Kai Leng.
HD? Wasn't it released on the 360, which is technically HD. There's also the PC port, for which there are a few mods.If Bioware does a HD/polished version of Mass Effect 1. Everything will be forgiven.

If they say they will change/fix the ending then yes, if not, no.
I can't see Halo fans or Uncharted fans raising the same volume of rabble
All this twitter shit basically confirms, at least in my mind, that they are going to change the ending in a big way. They are actually scared and nervous for once.

I'm not sure if you are serious.
I don't think there was anything unsafe about this ending. In fact it was loosely put together and intended to not answer anything except for one or two things. That's odd, perplexing, and confusing for some people. It won't be a victory if happens, it will be one of the worst things to happen to the industry in a long time. No one will try to do anything but a "safe" ending from now on. I'm honestly disgusted at some of the things people are saying and doing just because of some dissatisfaction over the ending. It's practically getting to the point where I can't say I liked the game since everyone seems to forget that the rest of the game was fantastic. You don't see me saying that MGS2 should be remade since that had a shitty ending/story. I can still appreciate the gameplay of it even though the narrative left a lot to be desired
Welcome to the support group.SPACE MAGIC...DESTROYING THE MASS RELAYS...THE EXPLANATION FOR THE REAPERS...MY GOD, WHAT DID THEY DO?
If Bioware does a HD/polished version of Mass Effect 1. Everything will be forgiven.
I just completed the game and enjoyed the ending where I chose to destroy the Reapers. I am "The Shepard" an I drew a breathe after the citadel exploded.
What the fuck are proper complaining about?

While I do think the ending sucked, I don't see the problem with the Catalyst. They did introduce him very early on in the Cold Open (or at least his model, if that's how you want to see it).
And I mean, I don't think it matters very much, introducing this new force at the very end of the trilogy. He's the reason the Reapers exist.
