Really contemplating this at 29.99 ugh lol
It's a recent Bioware problem, the mechanics are solid but let down by the encounter design because of the open-world. A lot of the random combat zones are template copy-paste with "a wild dropship appears!"
i'm amazed that anyone'd think andromeda's might be getting dlc, at this point. i'm guessing that anyone left from the project's been busy enough just working on the patches...
that there was never a season's pass pretty much says it all ...
The Citadel DLC was developed for a game that did well commercially. Andromeda did not do well commercially. Chances of it being dead are... high.Just because Schreier writes something doesn't make it true. The DLC like Citadel was not developed by the main team. Dragon Age Inquisition didn't have a season pass either.
If Shinobi were to say its dead than its dead

It'd be best to not expect anything major.
Okay, I finally started this yesterday and got about two hours in. The facial animations are not great, even with patches, but the game itself so far is pretty fun! I'm really not sure what all the complaining is about, but I just got the Tempest so I'm VERY early in.
There are some issues with the game, but it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be..
I'm about to embark on the final mission this week, so hopefully, it is better than three ended, lol.
Also, surprised by the explicitness of the sex scenes. OH BOI
Schreier is legit. Mass Effect is dead for the next 5 - 10 years.
Yeah I was a little surprised when Peebee shoved her face into my Sara's rack. However not complaining.
Ultima, Wing Commander, Dead Space, Simcity, Command and Conquer, Medal of Honor, etc.I'd guess more like 3-5. EA won't be able to stay away THAT long from a potential revenue stream.
Anybody say something?Yeah it's dead.
Makes me super sad ;-;
30 hours in and I still can't stop hearing Nolan North in the MC.
Ultima, Wing Commander, Dead Space, Simcity, Command and Conquer, Medal of Honor, etc.
Presuming this reddit post refers to recent output from BW, they're remaining tight-lipped about the future.Anybody say something?
Or just referring to silence at E3?
This game is better than Horizon Zero Dawn, at least. Better than Inquisition too.

I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I was loving Horizon, but dropped it when ME:A launched. After 70 hours of ME:A I tried to go back and finish the last third or so or Horizon... and I couldn't get back into it. Just bored all of a sudden especially with the combat. Recently started my NG+ Scott run on Andromeda and still loving it.I agree that it's better than inquisition, but it's not in the same league as Horizon imo. Not in story, world building or combat design.
Really?I agree that it's better than inquisition, but it's not in the same league as Horizon imo. Not in story, world building or combat design.
Honestly, if they could've gotten everything sorted out at least six months earlier, the game would've been a lot better, simply because there would've been more time to get the writing, pacing, and animations sorted out before release. The combat is easily the best a Mass Effect game has offered imo, superb!
If they could of sorted some things out like pacing, mission structure, kept the Nomad openness on a smaller scale (like Vetra's mission which to me was very atmospheric) like Mass Effect 1 and had sorted the facial stuff out-to me the worst offence is the copy and paste Asaris, disgraceful. This could of been a really good game.
I don't think it's bad by any means, in fact I like it but they could and should of done better here, my love of Bioware diminished somewhat after this.
Main story, Tempest crew, and Heleus Assignment missions are the only ones worth doing. Once you get to 100% viability and beat all the Architects, you just quit the Heleus Assignments for Eos, Voeld, Kadara, and Elaaden, especially if they're just helping out a rando person (totally do theAbout a few hours in, loved 1-3 but this game is janky and the characters aren't the greatest. At this point is it worth just plowing through just the main story to finish or is any of the side mission stuff good and I should try those out too?
Trying to get through my backlog this summer if it helps any.

You do that, and the game is pretty straight forward.

I would say to especially do the Ryder Family Secrets mission as well. Great homage to the original trilogy and tie-ins with Andromeda.
It's alright if you focus solely on the full sidequests I guess. Don't do any of the task shit though. That's just pointless filler.About a few hours in, loved 1-3 but this game is janky and the characters aren't the greatest. stench that was Andromeda.
...
Never going to touch that piece of shit game that Andromeda is again.
Origin currently has it on sale for £22.49. I'm tempted and after reading some the impressions and seeing the improvements from the patches. I'm tempted to pick up now.
Question is, is it worthing getting now? Or should I wait till cheaper?
