Just beat it. My GOTY, no doubt about that, and i played them all.
Mass Effect 2 seems so far away, it's so painful =( i think about restarting after the credits are finished.

Yeah Ive gotten over this problem already but its things like that, the framerate, the txt issues, and a few other nitpicks thats really take me out of the greatness that is Mass Effect. Still love the game, but there is quite a bit then can do on a performance level to improve things and make things work better.

I have no way of verifying any of that, yet, but I know there was an Ashley conversation that didn't happen for some reason, presumably because of Liara somehow, and then without that last super flirty conversation, no dice.

Well, the vendor gear does a good job of scaling to you for a while. And then when you finally get "Rich" you'll be out of cash as soon as you buy all the Spectre VII stuff.

Eventually the only things you'll be buying are Level X Upgrades, Colossus X armor, and Spectre X weapons. Oh, and I guess Amps and Omnitools.

YMMV, but I've always able been to blow all my cash on some reasonably good shinies. So far.

Also, some Battlemaster X armor just dropped for Wrex, somewhere, and it looks fucking awesome. It is also ridiculously powerful stat wise.

Edit: they really should do something about the credits. I currently have something like 8 mil in credits and 999 omni-gel so most loot is basically just garbage I have no need for. They should make credit rewards scale less or introduce inflation or something.

Yep, I *so* regret doing this and getting Liara on my first playthrough. Wouldn't be a problem if Bioware allowed a female Shephard to go with Ashley.

I lovelovelove this game. It is great, awesome, spectacular. How did shit like Bioshock get hyped over this?

I friggin love all the side quests. Exploring each planet is great, I'm oh so heartbroken that you can't land on every single one of them. Also I just found one of the Ancient Alien Race artifacts and got sad at a text cutscene.

But the Mako is awesome, and chasing after monkeys is awesome, and the combat is everything great about Kotor combined with trigger mashing fun instead of the terrible melee crap. Oh and I just did the

moon mission and made like I unno, 50k CR. That whole thing was awesome, cruising around on the moon. I'm not a huge fan of the game's graphics but the Mako sequences make me a believer.

My one complaint is not being able to customize your crew's specialization. Having to use that stupid cop because no one worthwhile knows decryption sucks.

There are weapons that have slightly better stats than the first tier of Spectre weapons. You'll find guns that do more damage but have less accuracy, for example. Off the top of my head I use a Sokolov IX shotgun instead of the Spectre one.

Ah, got those on my shotgun and had a blast. Makes you extremely strong...only problem was the seemingly arbitrary cooldown period after each shot (each shot would make me overheat): after firing, I would have to wait ~2 and a half seconds to cool down before firing again....on most shots...on the other (seemingly random shots) I would have to wait for almost 10 seconds before I could shoot again.

In the end, I just switch back to my previous ammo upgrade

Level rating goes from I (1) - X (10). HMWP X are best weapons in the game. Buy them C-Spec and Normandy vendor.

My feelings are the exact opposite. Bioshock was a far more pleasurable experience vs. Mass Effect. At least so far anyway.

I had an Infiltrator class, and omg... the ownage I handed out with my sniper rifle/explosive round/stability bonuses was unlike anything I'd ever seen. If was able to take out geth colossi on foot with that bad ass.

By the way, what exactly are the benefits of the combat sensor weapon upgrades? I was under the impression that it was just an increased lock-on bonus or something but I could be wrong.

Same here but I still choose Liara. I was super nice to both of them. When Liara asked if there was something there I said yes and that Ashley is just a friend. I did all that and still got the confrontation scene.

I'm doing the Lost Module quest and when I go into the back room of the cave and search the right monkey one of my teammates yells out "hey it dropped the module, good that its still okay" or something. but I can't find anything to pick up or take back. I tried searching on gamefaqs or something but no luck.

How far in are you? The citadel isn't the greatest of places, but once you start jumping planets the game gets really damn fun.

Does the sensor work on squadmates? I get annoyed when blocked, but I'm not sacrificing my dmg upgrades for em.

Oh and Tali is terrible. I never saw AI hack actually do anything, although doesn't she have the force vortex thing? Using that and a mine is beautiful. She just seems alot weaker than Liara in general, so I generally stick with Liara.

Just check the journal entry. It should confirm that you've obtained the module. Once you head back to the Normandy there should be a scene where you talk to the admiral guy if I remember correctly.

the problem is that the journal hasn't updated, it's still telling me to track down the monkey. even though Ashley just commented about the monkey dropping it.

Then you probably don't have high enough hacking. Maxed out it hacks into pretty much everything (not sure about the tanks, didn't have a chance to try). When there are a lot of those annoying hoppers or snipers around I just hacked one and waited in the cover while the geth killed each other. Hacking a prime or destroyer or something else of that caliber pretty much clears a room.
