Mass Effect |OT| Alien love in an elevator

On the Citadel, I can't....

...find the last two Keepers to scan. I have 19/21 scanned. Anyone know if there are two Keepers in obscure places that I may not have checked?

Quick question. When you first get the Normandy you have a choice to go to 3 different areas to progress the story it seems. Which one would you guys recommend to do first?
Feros.
The other 2 planets has at least one fight which is extremely difficult which I wouldn't recommend doing early. But Feros is a lot more manageable at a low level.

They were all in pretty open places from what I remember....I mean, there is no secret hiding places or anything like that. You just gotta search every inch of every room...

Anyways, I didn't want to do this, but I'm playing as a male shephard and I don't want to blow my chances at the relationship quest. I'm guessing that if I keep kissing both Ashley's and Liara's ass that I won't end up with either, correct? Anyone have any hints on getting either one? I'm still a bit undecided at this point, and early in the game (Just got Liara a bit ago).

I've read the reviews, and I love the setting and character customization...but the camera and gameplay looks awkward.

How is it in actuality?

I don't have a problem with either. I've noticed some weird zooming of the camera occasionally, or my character will lean up against something I don't want him to. Other than that not many problems, curious to see what others say, no idea that's what reviews have been saying.

I went with Feros first then tackled Noveria and I'm now about to do the third (locate the Doc). A couple of people I know went to Noveria first and struggled with it a fair bit whereas I didn't have much problem with it (bar one battle) because my characters were obviously levelled up higher and had more skills. So yeah, I'd go to Feros first.

PS: I'm not really liking the mako parts of the game.

That's pretty distinctive. My Sheppard looks like he's about to cry. :)

Nice work.

I liked this mini quest.
Did you get the one at the spaceport? How about all of the ones in the Council chambers? I found my last one there.

This game is killing my poor Xbox. I've gotten about four disc errors in 10 hours of playing. =/

Wish Microsoft would actually do something about my Xbox when I call them, rather than just keep having me try different games. It never disc read errors when I'm on the phone with them, so their stupid customer service reps just tell me to take the game back.

Im missing one, and I dont know what you mean
by council chambers ?

I found 3 in the council tower, if that is what you mean... and 2 that I can remember in the embassies. (one in the elephant-creature embassy and the one behind the "expensive pub).

That last keeper is killing me. I got the one in the spaceport also.

Did one in Csec near Requisition officer? Or how about the one in Citadel before preacher area where guy sells stuff where you can go upstairs and on second floor? Or the one near the AI device that blows up?

The quest from Casino is what I'm talking about. The final room where 'it' ends up. I assumed he had that done I suppose.

Just got mine here in the UK. Messed around with the face gen then plumped for default male shepard. Just done the first planet so to speak. God this game is hot.
Lucky. How did you get it early?

I'm gonna head to a store tomorrow morning in the hope of picking up the LCE.

I've been playing for over 20hrs. Trying to do a lot of the sidequests. I'm wondering how much more this game has. I thought it was actually over at one point. When
you fight Saren and are forced to choose between ash and the dude.
I thought that was going to be the end. Seemed like a good part for the cliffhanger leading to ME2. About how much more can be left in this game? Another hour?

I got 2 in C-Sec, the one near the detective, and the one near the guy thats selling stuff. Is there a third ?

Im not sure witch one youre talking about next... the place where a guy sells stuff ? What guy ? The market? But you say near the preacher guy ? I think this may be the one Im missing because I have no idea what you mean.

The one near the AI device I found it. It's in the financial district in the back of the building where the pink alien is selling stuff.

Find the scientist before going to Novaria. Other than that its they're all pretty even in difficulty.

I think finding the scientist is easiest, but it requires a bit of exploration. I did Noveria and found it a bit challenging actually. Feros so far has been easy. I'm on the boss fight now.

Yeah I'm on Noveria and it's kicking my ass :(

Just finished the game! The last "level" is amazing!! I am at about level 45 when I beat the game (on normal), so the final boss fight is pretty easy, but you really feel like a badass, enemies got thrown around by my biotic teammate, it's really cool.

The game is not very long though, I got the "completist" achievement, and I spend probably about 32 hours, and I have been to every system and landed on every planets, I only go to the marked positions on each planet though (although I ran into some unmarked places by accident also).

A word of advice, if you are not micromanaging your teammate, make sure you let them control biotic by themselves, I had it set to defence only, and they are pretty useless, but once it's turned on, they become much more helpful.

I was under the impression it was only running while you are in combat. Out of combat, its only changing the camera position.

I could be wrong.

After the doc gets killed go to his body and retrieve the code then go to the VI thing in the next room.

But... its a puzzle, not a code.

That makes no sense why Bioware would do that... Oh well.

~4hrs in and loving it. Still have left the Citadel...is that normal? Oh well I like tkaing my time, and there's plenty to do.

Am not used to the combat yet, especially biotics, but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.

Ergh, my 360 appears to be starting okay again. . .is this just the next "Stage" of my system dying, or is it something with Mass Effect?

It's inevitable. When your 360 starts acting strange it'll give up eventually.

i just got a bug where you can't run anywhere. it was like i was stuck on a piece of geometry even though it was a flat straight path. also, i went back to Zelos or where ever to finish some sidequests and the elevator wouldn't work. it better be running when i come back.

Bioware games, so buggy. :lol

All my wireless controllers are no longer synced with my console. This has never happened before. If you people never hear from me again, you know that my 360 has exploded, giving me magical powers and visions of a strange android hell future.

Hey Gowans where did you get your copy early from? If I want to but it instore, GAME is the only chain that stocks the LCE right?

Anywhere on Thursday evening normally sells (late night shopping) Gamestation gave me mine tho the prices have gone up so I'll hit the net next time.

Off to kip now but christ how the hell do you get to the
last bomb on the first mission
tryed 3 times and just see which way you have to go to get down to it.

Am I the only one finding combat to be a little clunky and rather difficult? I'm playing as a Vanguard, and I'm getting my ass handed to me in many encounters. I try to play it like a tactical shooter (which I'm good at BTW) but everything just happens too fast. I want it to feel like R6:V or GRAW but it just feels so poorly done. I try to take cover but the AI will just rush me and then the framerate goes into the shitter while my squadmates act retarded. Any tips? I love everything about the game so far except the combat.

So after lots and lots of frustration, I ditched my save and started a new game. MUCH better now. Im a soldier and upgraded my gear differently. Still have problems with the save system, but Im liking the game a hell of a lot more now.
