This show would be so much better if there wasn't any music.

I hope Tali or David goes home next week, I really hate the concept keeping an antagonist around especially when they can't cook

Still hope Josh or Christine wins but it'll probably turn out like last season and Monti will win because she has a stupid name along with her kid.

I rather like the musical scoring employed during the show... with the sole exception of when audio cues give away the judge's feedback before it actually happens.

I just don't understand how every episode it seems we get someone saying "poor Tali" or "Your dish looks so great". How does this dude seem to have everyone liking him, but on TV he comes across as such a deuche. I know it's mostly editing, but he at least has to say the shit he says for them to edit it together.

Tali's getting a terrible edit. There's no way in hell he'd be as universally liked by his peers as he seems to be given the performance we've seen in challenges. They're deliberately going out of their way to mask his triumphs and call attention to all of his faults.

This seems to be a clear distinction versus David who seems to just be a bad cook (except in the tortellini challenge).

You guys are all fucked. Monti is awesome.

I'm actually with you on this. I'm rooting for Monti more than anyone else right now.

Meaning no offense, you're crazy if you think Christine and Becky aren't putting on personas also. They're just nicer, more stereotypically conventional ones. That's not a judgement, I want Christine to win too, but I think it's silly to hate Monti for being fake. It's reality television, everybody is fake.

Ben Starr was infinitely more interesting as a chef than any other chef in Season 2, but he only made Top 5. It only takes one dish to throw you for a loop in Masterchef.

I hope Christine wins the whole thing and I think she has a good chance at doing it, but there's always a chance that something will just fall apart for her to send her home.
