Nicola Sturgeon: Queen in the North!

I'll leave it to more talented hands to insert Sturgeon.

Not really. No. They're useless lying shitbags who've made the country worse and have made steps to selling off the NHS. Another 5 years of them in power and we're going to see a working class living in practically third world conditions.

3rd world? Right.

There are policies I don't like about the tories, including the NHS. But what you have mentioned is utter nonsense.

I've only been following this vaguely, but even I'm confused how wildly different these exit polls are from the other ones I've seen.

Ashdown threatening to eat hats! Also, this SNP thing has made no sense to me in that Scotland can vote for them, but no one else can. It seems to have removed votes from the population. It'd be like a North-East party that only people in the North-East could vote for.

Indeed. We're going to learn a lot about polling tonight.

The Tories claim their internal polling has them on 302. I really can't see them doing better than their polling.

If the Lib Dems are down to ten seats there's no way Clegg has survived.

Not true. If the Labour vote isn't strong Tory tactical voting could keep him afloat.

I don't know about you guys, but this means the entire night will be compelling.

Will the exit poll be accurate?

Will the live results be different?

I cant possibly think about going to sleep now.

So if the exit poll is correct, it looks like we need a new polling model. Not surprised by the Tory shy but I am gobsmacked by the Lib collapse if true.

Its going to be an interesting night, just happy I am not working tomorrow.

how ironic that Scotland has won the election for the Tories
If the poll is accurate, this isn't correct. Tories only had one Scottish seat. SNP gains from Labour or Lib Dems doesn't make it easier for the Tories to reach 326.

In fact, it increases an anti-Tory bloc if SNP take seats from the Lib Dems.

Poor Nick really needs to go home, his voice isn't up for this at all.

Really want to believe these numbers are wrong, especially as everyone from every party seems to think they are.

So guys, any candidates for Labour and Lib dem leaders?

Labour still hasn't really had time to restock on talented candidates after 2010; there's no new blood. They have the fag ends of the Blair cabinets and some utterly green shoots. I'd cautiously hedge on Burnham, but they're fucked, honestly.

I don't understand the tory hate, there's some shit admittedly, but that applies to all parties.

I'd take them over Ed Ball's having any financial responsibility over this nation

And think of it this way, it could have been tory /UKIP

How so?

it doesn't seem to surprising to me in that they betrayed all those new voters who were swooned last election, and have lost a lot of ground in Scotland.

i don't think the exit poll is quite right but i feel like it'll will probably be in between it and the yougov poll which will keep cameron in power :(

not staying up all night just to be depressed as shit anyway

With the amount of food banks I'd say those times are already upon us.

I'm legitimately feeling ill right now. I can't believe that I live in a country so callous, so eager to preserve a way of life for the rich on a "Just in case we end up there" basis. I feel so much worse than I did last election, because we've seen just how bad the Tories are when they're in power, and we may have voted them in twice in a row.

At least Lib Dems are deservedly fucked and SNP can keep things interesting in resisting the Tories.

Tory and DUP coalition sound like the worst possible result. Good job, democracy.

lol no, we would have propped up Labour no matter what. If this poll is true and isn't bullshit like even Sturgeon is saying it is, then this is all on the English voters.

You brought this shit on yourselves.
