Ed is really making a mess of this question.

EDIT: Farage would support literally anyone if they'd give him his precious referendum.

I would have saved the recording of Farage's quote on my phone and played it back on stage.

I'm still convinced voting Green is the right way to go.

If this is the last question, this is just the kind of finish Cameron would have wanted.
I wouldn't be surprised if Cameron's tactic tonight was to let these five parties highlight each other's weaknesses. I also wouldn't be surprised if it worked because I can't see anyone here worth voting for.

That Miliband call out at the end was amazing.

That might just be a brilliant bit of electioneering. Very interesting to see if it snowballs and gathers any traction in the media or not. Could equally turn out to be a damp squib and quickly forgotten about.

I swear stuff like this only helps galvanise UKIP's base, feeling as though there's a big conspiracy against them.

I agree - however the problem is that UKIP's base is actually quite small - they need to win a ton of votes from both Labour and Tories, and recently we've seen major cracks appear - and their polling gradually slide. I think the reality is starting to show here.

If I knew how to record BBC streams, I'd put together a video of Ed calling out Dave with Guile's Theme in the background.

I remember reading about the Tories wanting to chicken out of debates. How can the British media let them get away with that? If something like that happened in Sweden, they would have faced pretty much unanimous bashing from all media outlets, 24/7.

They did face a fair bit of bashing, but election debates are pretty new in the UK. We've only had them since 2010.

Most British media prefers the Conservative Party to the Labour Party, so they're never going to bash too hard.

This post debate format is terrible. It's giving the Tories and the Lib Dems a chance to put their case under extremely tame questioning.

Danny Alexander seemed to be not ruling out the Lib Dems working with Labour and the SNP.

Clegg could rule out working with the SNP, Alexander who probably needs snookers to keep his seat has to be a bit more pragmatic in the hope he can peel off soft SNP voters.

Tonight reaffirms my hope for a tory majority, I really don't feel like anyone on that stage has anything to contribute - especially those outside of Miliband.

The SNP having a large say would be, for me, the worst thing.

I'm hoping for a labour/libdem or tory /libdem government, as to me nothing would be worse than regional parties dictating national politics as their interests clearly aren't national.

Your ignorance is comical to say the least.

If there were economists who had all the answers we wouldn't need politicians. I'm not sure you understand the meaning of the word ignorance, in which case there would be a decent amount of irony in your post.

They never listened to the economists. The right has also poisoned the economics profession with the establishment of think tanks to peddle their fantasy nonsense. There is essentially no real debate, there is a wide consensus on what needs to be done. Politicians refuse to do it due to moneyed interests and/or ideology.
