Maybe Bob Backlund. If I recall, his championship run was five-plus years and he fought a lot of great wrestlers including special matches with Ric Flair, Harley Race, and Antonio Inoki.

I'll never use age as an indicator of whether or not someone can be in the ring. We have a great crop of 40-60 year olds going in the best years of their life right now. Negro Casas is one of the greatest.
