Bravely Default has almost no advertising. It wasn't in the last Nintendo magazine here, iirc. There's posters up at my local Yamada Denki & that's about it.
I have got about 3 spot passes from the 5th demo though (250,000~ person city).

Speaking of Yamada Denki, though, I went for the first time in a few weeks.
1. 3DS had 57 shelves just for games. There were 12 shelving units 5 shelves high each, but three had promotional material on them.
2. Of the 57, 4 were made up of download cards for NSMB2, Girl's Mode, Brain Training, & Art Academy. They were divided equally.
3. In addition, there were 3 cases for accessories/hardware, a demo unit, a looping video playing 3DS games, and a stand-alone display for Girl's Mode.
4. In comparison, there was 7 shelves for Vita games (1 and 2/5 of a shelving unit). This was second last, losing only to the 360, including the DS (4 units for games) and PSP (3.5 units for games) sections.
5. In total, there were 3 units for Vita for all its accessories, hardware, & games.
6. There were no Wii U adverts at all.
7. There were a ton of DQX still on the shelves.
8. I only saw 1 copy of RE6 on the shelves.
9. There was a tiny Project X Zone poster, asking for pre-orders.
10. Bravely Default had 2 large posters, one introducing the characters, the other introducing the story/gameplay.

My local Bic Camera (Nagoya) just put up their Bravely Default display this past Friday. The display wasn't on when I took the pic, but when I went again the next day it was showing the trailer. (Sorry for the bad pic, but I was trying not to be too obvious taking the pic.)

(Some of those little character "stands" on the bottom had been put up near the monitor the following day.)
