What I wore to work today. Not pictured is a brown belt and matching brown shoes with dark blue laces.

First time trying the double four in hand knot and I instantly fell in love with it. It adds a certain euro flair to an otherwise American ensemble, I feel. Thoughts on my ootd and the four in hand or knots in general?

That is a well-fitting suit, and I like the knot as well. My only comment would be to upgrade the watch, it doesn't really fit the ensemble. Looks pretty sharp though overall.

First thing I noticed too. Looks sharp except for the watch which sticks out. If your rocking brown belt/shoes get a nice brown leather watch and you'll nail it.

Thanks foe the replies guys. Yep the watch upgrade is next in line, haha. Oddly enough my lady and I had just talked about my next wristwear purchase a few days ago and we came to the conclusion that I need a classic leather banded watch. Thanks for the reaffirmation.

About the shoulders, what exactly causes them to do what they're doing? I'm looking to buy a new suit (navy or super light grey), and I'm probably going for a similar style to this one (very light, almost non-existent shoulder padding). Is it a case of the shoulders being too snug? The suit itself as a bargain Express suit that I got a year and a half ago for about $180 shipped on some super clearance deal. I got this one and a black one but they fit slightly different and now the black one is way too tight, as I've gained some mass from working out since then. A good problem to have, I suppose, but a problem nonetheless.

Simplistic, beautiful timepieces. They're exactly what a good suit needs. Something that doesn't draw your eye away from the suit too much but something that is still very noticeable. I don't want to assume things, but you look like a rather wealthy fella, they're reasonably priced watches for what they are.

I would say that's an apt description. The beauty of it, though, lies in how the knot adds a three dimensional quality to your knot. It adds a lot of character, which isn't quite evident in my picture.

Im just going to be wearing a pair of slim fit khakis with button up shirts/fitted polos all week. I dont need anything too fancy, my budget is around $70. I like my shoes low profile, not really into boots or anything too wide.

thats because the crew is very tight fitting

if you want to look more "filled out" any tight tee will work

Thanks for posting these. Bought myself a pair and they arrived just in time for my trip to Mykonos tomorrow. Best believe I'll be rocking these at the beach bars.

Still deciding what I want to take with me on this trip. I'm think a bunch of colorful tees (pink, purple, light blue), some polos, a few dress shirts for the clubbing at night, and then a wide variety of shorts (khaki, green) and pants (beige, white, yellow, red). I figure that should be enough to hold me for a week.
