I didn't realize Arken Age is getting a port. Will definitely grab it.

maybe maybe not. My understanding is q3 is higher res better optics and PSVR2 is better blacks.ok, I kinda have to vent, I tried Hitman on psvr2 tonight , why am I not impressed? is it because the quest 3 spoiled me? the Quest 3 image is so much clearer...I had to make sure, so I booted up Half life Alyx on quest 3 and holy fuck the difference is almost night and day!
the Psvr2 is kinda blurry/fuzzy, I try to adjust it all the time, am I doing something wrong?
your understanding ? did you try both? one right after the other?maybe maybe not. My understanding is q3 is higher res better optics and PSVR2 is better blacks.
nah im strictly q3+pcvr. It's just what I've read.your understanding ? did you try both? one right after the other?
ah K! just makes me wonder if these games like hit man , Gt7 , Re4 and Re village how much better it would look on pcvr compared to the psvr2nah im strictly q3+pcvr. It's just what I've read.
I'm playing Village rn actually and walking around the castle is sickkkk. I just like looking at stuff on the shelves haha. Getting lifted up by the big lady awakened something in me. I really hope the next quest is oled tho. They'll have to figure out brightness by stacking the displays like an ipad or go microled (or miniled I get them confused)ah K! just makes me wonder if these games like hit man , Gt7 , Re4 and Re village how much better it would look on pcvr compared to the psvr2
I have both the psvr2 and quest 3. The Quest 3 is way sharper for sure but the colors and contrast are bad. Psvr 2 beats it in those areas. Having prescription inserts for psvr2 has made it noticeable sharper than without it for me. That being said, I use quest 3 more. It's just easier to get into and doesn't have a longer setup process unlike psvr2.I'm playing Village rn actually and walking around the castle is sickkkk. Still pissed no modder has done RE4vr on pc yet. You get a lot less jank on the PSVR2 tho so enjoy that. I hope Sony released their VR stuff on PC eventually.

I'm not sure what's next in the VR journey for me tho. Big screen beyond looks awesome but I really like the built in stuff with Quest, especially my kids. Deckard could be good but idk if Ill stick with Meta if they keep their exclusives.

the Q3 sharpness over shadows the Psvr2 color IMO , because I was trying to get the psvr2 to look sharp like the Q3, not possible! not bad in a fast moving environment like GT7 but not in Hitman, something I noticed too is with the eye tracking in Hitman it made npcs disappear if you look far to the right and looked back to the leftI have both the psvr2 and quest 3. Yeah running RE8 village on my pc and streaming it to my q3 using virtual desktop. It's great.Village on Q3?
ah ok, so you are playing flat screen through your head set?Yeah running RE8 village on my pc and streaming it to my q3 using virtual desktop. It's great.
RE7 was also unreal

Yeah! I have a few Quest 3 mods here , I never tried them, I'm to lazy inject them and configure shit lolAll the UE games can be run in VR, like ALL of them. As well as the Unity games. Even Sony games like Returnal which have a PC port are supposed to be amazing. Actual VR with 6DOF VR controls (or you can stick with flat). Same with Cyberpunk, Red Dead Redemption 2, and so on. Even FFVII Remake has VR ports on PC.
Ok maybe not every last one, but 1,000s and 1,000s. The RE games have special work done beyond just running in VR though, but it's not to the level of the PSVR2 version.
Nah it's VR with motion controls. I've been playing a lot of modded pcvr games lately. I did the Alien Isolation mod. That was sick, felt like I had a backstage pass at universal studios sets. The holy grail is my eventual first playthrough of Cyberpunk in VR. just waiting for it to go on sale even more and maybe motion controlsah ok, so you are playing flat screen through your head set?

You're right rdr2 would be sick. The assets and quality of those interiors will probably be perfect in vr.Have you done RDR2? I have read that one is also astounding - I remember someone describing the feeling of walking into one of the game's live shows of a singer performing a song on stage in with an audience felt truly like you were in another era, and was amazing in VR. Cyberpunk sounds great too. Shame about Quest 3 not having ETFR though, using that with the PSVR2 increases performance an insane amount on PC I've also read, but hopefully Quest 4 or the LG headset or whoever makes the next great OLED one for PC will have that too.
nervous for the guy's headset Bright direct sun can burn your panels. happened when I left my q2 by a window
I really can't wait till we figure out some sort of treadmill. Joystick is fine but it's a little janky going backwards and stuff. I gotta take this to a basketball gym and try itYeah I think so long as you just stay aware of its fine. I'd rather do it in a large building.
