METAL GEAR ONLINE - Missions, Stages, Classes and more revealed

also konami realizes they need to implement some sort of anti-cheat mechanism on the pc version right?

fob in mgsv is already filled with hackers

I think a lot will depend on the maps. This one isn't impressive, at all. It's too open or something.

I know this is just a preview but I hope the teamwork is better than what we're seeing.

But after watching the speed of the gameplay, I'm not sure how some of the older maps would work, bigger maps like GG would be alright, but something smaller like AA wouldn't work so well.

it looks faster and more chaotic than MGO2 because of sprint and diving. MGO2 was a fast paced game for those who chose to play that way. Not everyone will run and dive in MGO3. Snipers especially.

Well, Team Sneaking is there it's just been renamed Cloak and Dagger or whatever. and there's some kind of communications capture gametype which I'm sure is similar to previous capture missions.

This was TDM, TDM is naturally going to be chaotic.

that's not Team Sneaking, it doesn't have the stealth camo, right?

Cool, forgot about that.

Got no problem with chaotic mgs, just wanna be sure.

This is what I remembered as well. I remember experiencing a number of fairly more tactical and cautious matches. But the majority were fast paced and chaotic. I remember a number of times being killed and trying to figure out wtf happened, haha.
tactical "run in circles and headshot" action

The attacking team in TSNE looks too underpowered now... you shouldn't be able to see the outline of their stealth camo

they are playing cloak and dagger now

such tactical

Pretty disappointing. A few stale multiplayer modes and 5 maps. Would be surprised if it isn't riddled with microtransactions too. This definitely warranted an extra month past release of waiting.

only 5 maps? and they couldn't include Urban Ultimatum?

Is the stealth going on and off? Or was that the player? It was at the beginning of the game, and nobody had been spotted yet.

in TSNE, the camo is switched off momentarily if your team mate is discovered.

Yes let's judge how tactical the game is with teams that have barely played the game. :>

i'm going to inchworm my way to victory.

Yeah, this looks waaaaaaaay more chaotic than I thought it would be.

It looks like MGO, then.

From what I notice, the commorose is less complicated (good), there's no auto-lockon (GREAT), and hitmarkers (eh, could go either way on that but I'm glad they're there for modern shooter times).

However it still has weird CQC and "jank" gameplay issues.

this is random people? I thought it was staged by Konami reps or something

Nope, no Konami reps were playing. It was two teams of random young (like teenagers maybe young adults) Japanese players who were wearing MGO t-shirts (they were probably handed the t-shirts to wear while playing).

Looks good to me, I should probably start brushing up on my KB&M skills, been playing with my controller for single player :P

I'm aware of that. It was the only mode I ever played. I saw the the stealth going off when it appeared nobody had been spotted yet. My sound is down, so maybe I didn't hear the alarm sound go off when it happened, though.
