I don't think there is any way we'll get a PC Bayonetta except maybe way in the future. If Sega is going to re-release Bayonetta, it'd be for Wii U and I don't think Nintendo would want it to come for PC as well.

A PC port does exist internally (note the 3D Vision glasses). Why Sega is sitting on it, I don't know.

Edit: Oh, duh, this is what spurred the conversation. Serves me right for not scrolling up. :p

I'd say it's a bad thing since it shows that the game doesn't have any advanced graphics settings.

Most people probably consider it a good thing though, since it seems to me like to many it is more important to be able to "run at max settings" than to actually have real max settings. (The latter is called "unoptimized)

/rant
I reckon the recommended specs may have something to do with this setting, if the port allows us to up the destruction to 'beyond-console' levels. Just a random assumption.

"There is an option reading "ZANGEKI" that will modify the amount of cuts you can make."

I know it's a long shot, but I hope that someday someone out there decides to mod in the glowing white blood from the Japanese release. I personally find it a lot more visually appealing, but it's not something anyone else would likely care about.

No worries, I'm gonna expect plenty of sweet visual mods for it. White blood sounds easy for a modder.

I care about it way more than I should.

Oh good, I'm not the only one.

I'm pretty sure the only reason it isn't already an option in all versions of the game is that they would have to include both sets of pre-rendered cutscenes (red and white blood), otherwise it would be inconsistent to have white blood in-game and red blood in cutscenes, or the other way around.

On that same topic, I wonder if we'll get the less compressed PS3 cutscenes, or the 360 cutscenes.

With those Min Specs, I'm hoping we get some real next gen enhancements like Tress FX, new lighting effects, higher quality textures, etc.

After waiting all this time I kind of expected a mess, but including all the DLC, a cutscene and CODEC theatre and a Boss Rush mode for $20? It's like I've died and gone to heaven. You might say I've... FINALLY FOUND WHAT IIIIII WAS LOOOOOOKING FOR!

You're joking.... right?

The Codec Theater is something I really like.
Didn't bother much with it in the game and i'd rather just grab all the info listening to it than chop up my game experience with it.

Passed up tons of good deals on console waiting for this. Really excited. Please don't be a shitport. Please. Will Durante play this? Ya know......just in case.......

Will this deal also be available directly on Steam? I want to use my Paypal credit for this, but Amazon doesn't take Paypal.

Well, looks like I'm going have to finally replace you when Haswell-e finally hits... Or maybe those minimum CPU specs are overstated. Probably a bit of both...

Either way this is releasing for much cheaper than I was expecting it to be. Day one.

Does Amazon charge you when you pre-order on Digital goods? (I've never pre-ordered digitally, tbh...I'd assume they'd charge you first?)

A PC port and a PC based SDK kit is not the same thing. I see that at the second possibility.

Anyway, since most platinium games are already sales failure, I do not see much incentive for Sega to release a PC version.

then you don't understand pc game economics

... Please await further details regarding Metal Gear Rising news, coming soon.

Hello Mr. ToraShiro,

Do you now something about the marketing strategy behind the MGRR free dlc's on european psn wich, at the moment, are NOT yet free at all ?

Why make them free on japanise and on american psn ONLY but not on the STUPID european one ?

Thanks for listening,

An italian gamer who buyed this game still waiting the chance to download the dlc for free to finally complete his experience on this amazing action game.

I have i7 860, Radeon 5850, and 8GB RAM...I hope that works =P

All I know is that it was TEH SHIZNIT back in late 2009/early 2010...not so much nowadays LOL. But as long as it holds up with my occasional Lightroom/Photoshop work I'm good.

Most likely this will be my last major PC rig and will just get a decent laptop when the time comes for me to get a new PC.

You won't be gaming on a MacBook Pro, they don't have dedicated graphics cards last time I checked iirc.

FINALLY! All those of us who resisted the temptation of playing it on consoles will be rewarded. I absolutely can not wait. Preorder/preload whatever to get it ASAP!

My CPU (i3 2100) doesn't meet the minimum requirements. Okay, so there's something about the PC port that isn't equivalent to whatever the 360's CPU works on? What's using 4 cores minimum? And shouldn't I be suspicious when there's nothing about AMD hardware? I smell an unoptimized port.

It's not just a console dev build on the PC; that's why I said "note the 3D Vision glasses". Kamiya couldn't be playing the game with 3D Vision enabled if it weren't a bona fide PC build with proper Nvidia driver support.

God dammit. Literally the day before I head out of the country and away from my PC for 4 months.

Oh well. That night shall be filled with MGS Rising goodness.

isn't there a PC version of MGSV too? they just refuse to release it
That's a weird claim, considering the game has yet to be released on ANY platform and they never explicitly denied the chance of a PC port, and actually hinted about it in a couple of circumstances.

Is there an internal PC version of Vanuish?

There's no internal commercial version of either.

All their games were running on PC at one time during development. Even Rising.

That doesn't mean they're ready for commercial release, as evidenced by Rising taking almost a full year to come out on PC after the console versions
