I thought I would share again the little neat trick I discovered that if you throw a bunch of guys in the back of a truck and fulton the truck they all get fultoned.

Just actually just did this a few minutes ago. Extremely awesome and satisfying.

Booting this game up is fucking annoying.

Game saves automatically - Press X

Resume game - Press X

Who thought this was a good idea? The online info should at least be an option in the menu to view if you wish, not forced.

This is because of all the server status and what not. Day one when i booted the game non of this showed. It was a seamless transition to the opening. It was really awesome.

A) You need a fucking chill pill, there's always going to be surprises in a MGS game.

B) It's really not that hard to call in a heli and put the wounded prisoner in it.

What the hell do you mean it's not that hard? It's about a thousand times harder. The helicopter comes about 5 minutes running distance out of nearly every base. I was literally in the middle of a base when I grabbed the guy. I had smoke bombed a bunch of guys and planned to grab him, take him outside and quickly fulton him out. Getting a helicopter was nowhere near easy at that point.

And I'm just angry because this is about the 4th time I've lost 40 minutes to an hour of gameplay because of the stupid checkpoint system. Checkpoint systems need to fucking die. Let me SAVE.

For those having trouble in Mission 16, I completed it using
D-Walker. Just make sure you have the Gatling gun equipped. After they leave the airport, I was able to sneak behind them and fulton the patrol in the back, and then simply hopped in D-Walker and initiated the cutscene for the Skulls to appear, and then simply unloaded my entire clip into all of them, making sure I dodged any of their attacks with Square. The 500 bullets in the gatling gun was just enough to kill all four of the Skulls.

I just sneaked past those scary motherfuckers.

Fultoned the two tanks first, then fultoned the truck. Whenever those skull soldiers got near me, i threw an empty mag in the oposite direction and they'd swarm around it like flies to a turd, ahah. That empty mag is so fucking useful!
It takes a while because you need to crawl a lot, but it can be done, crawling+empty mag = op

Fuck Mission 18.

The children kept hanging back too far and the soldiers were all huddled around one area and as I was picking them off one by one, suddenly the children would run off without my say so, since they seem to automatically do that if you go too far from them. The next issue was the fucking chopper just turning up randomly out of the blue with no clue as to where and when it would suddenly appear. Then the soldiers from behind who find that the prisoners are missing come a charging toward me too. Then I find out that you have to pick up and drop all of the children into the chopper first before you can exit. I lost at this final part so many times, you have no idea. The last time when I finally achieved it was thanks in large part to Quiet turning up and picking them off as they came around the corner.

Fuck that was intense.
Managed to get my first S rank here too through all of those blood and tears. Never thought I'd get it since I messed up so many times.

Thanks for everyone who advised me on how to complete mission 16. I did it another way.

I distracted the skulls, called for the helicopter, fultoned it, then ran for my life lol.

But yeah waiting for them to go far from the truc to act is quite good too.

While on helicopter.

Missions > LOG > Cutscenes

While it seems there is an option, it appears empty for me, maybe after you beat the game?

Anyone? (I guess specifically the ones you can't repeat on Motherbase)

Are you looking for dialog that you missed during cutscenes? You can do that on your idroid btw. It even has conversations between you and enemies you hold up, and comms relay transmissions.

Otherwise, the only way I know is to goto youtube :c

Maybe, I can't remember if the cutscene viewer in Peace Walker unlocked all at the end or as the game progressed

Oh. I was wondering how you'd be able to view the "First time playing the game" intro cutscene, since it doesn't trigger for
replaying the prologue.

Always disconnect when you have the chance for the time being by pressing select.

Is there any reason to stay connected? I need to get online when I get home to import my ground zeroes data, but other than that is invasions of FOB the only reason to stay online? (I'm not gonna buy MB coins)

I'm willing to bet that you could once MGO releases.

I found it again while playing last night...it was on the customize option in the idroid menu while on the chopper I think

Make sure to stop in at Mother Base too: checking up on Quiet from time to time will unlock special story cutscenes.

I've been doing this and I haven't gotten any cutscenes. Just beat Mission 12 if that matters.

On the subject of the extra content from Ground Zeroes save data, do you go back to Camp Omega in TPP? Or was that just fan speculation.

Is there a purpose to capturing animals beside the conservation platform and gaining GMP for doing so?

Like, can I supply drop a sheep onto an enemy? <- The important question.

I'm still early in but I stop by mother base to shower and listen to some story tapes. (When I'm not in the open world)

I'm still avoiding spoilers, and haven't seen major plot stuff, but I'm wondering if this game works well as a way to fix some of mgs4's messy plot elements with the mgs3 characters...I don't want to get into specifics until I'm further in MGS5 than the second story mission, but that's the initial impression I'm getting from the tapes I've listened to. (Best series order maybe: 1 2 3 PW V 4)???

At the moment no, other than daily rewards(I don't know if they are just GMP or what) and FOB of course.

Can anyone answer this.
I select Quiet as my buddy but during the mission she seems to just disappear and I am basically on my own, is there a reason why this happens?

Thanks
Edit: It isn't an actual spoiler but just covering in case.

Past Episode 11 buddy question
How long am I waiting for Quiet to join me as a buddy? I visit the base often, hours ago I saw a cutscene when departing, nothing since. Is it tied to story progress?

anyone else get fooled into thinking solid snake suit was going to be a mgs5 version of ss sneaking suit instead of a MSG1 SS model :p

I want my GMP back :(

So, is there a way to put a guy you're carrying into the back of a truck? It didn't seem to come up, and when I tried to throw him, he bounced off the back of the truck and fell behind it like some sort of weird reverse magnetism.

One observation i made when B.Boss is in the ACC =>Could be Story related:
When i zoom into BB, his reflection becomes visible in the Helicopters window, thing is, i see a bald headed guy, => my avatar is a bald headed guy. So the operation went trough?

Open the iDroid. There is an option to give commands to Quiet like scout certain area.
