This is because of all the server status and what not. Day one when i booted the game non of this showed. It was a seamless transition to the opening. It was really awesome.
The issue is it's showing messages that are no longer relevant. Konami should be clearing the messages that aren't relevant.

Can anyone answer this.
I select Quiet as my buddy but during the mission she seems to just disappear and I am basically on my own, is there a reason why this happens?

Thanks
Edit: It isn't an actual spoiler but just covering in case.
She doesn't follow you like other buddies, instead she'll move to a sniping point, if she doesn't help its because she's too far.
Where is the zoo on mother base?
It isn't part of mother base.

I am sure this is because of all the issues they are having with their servers. Just let them do their job... the game plays just fine in offline mode.

It is annoying... but its not like you get this msg every 2 mins.

So I maxed out my D-Dog bond. Love the customization it offers. Now Big Boss runs around with a fox colored wolf. BEST BUDDY confirmed!

IDroid->Buddy Support->From here you can instruct her to go to a sniping position or scout (you can set the location).

So, is there a way to put a guy you're carrying into the back of a truck? It didn't seem to come up, and when I tried to throw him, he bounced off the back of the truck and fell behind it like some sort of weird reverse magnetism.

Not sure about the back of the truck but you can definitely place them on a seat like all other vehicles.

Edit: I guess the pic below answers that question.

I thought I would share again the little neat trick I discovered that if you throw a bunch of guys in the back of a truck and fulton the truck they all get fultoned.

11960022_10156143543415657_447127376617512675_n.jpg

I did this for a certain mission involving enemies that couldn't be fultoned. Worked well, up until a random mortar blew up the truck. I wasn't even in an alert phase.

Report me for trolling ND/TLoU2 threads
hey I just had a few questions if people would answer if you can.

is there a way to stop mother base from auto assigning fultoned soldiers, when i fulton them they are already placed in a group, is there a way to keep them in the waiting room and then assign them myself when I am done a mission?

Also i just unlocked DD as a grown up wolf, I was wondering about his commands etc. When I tell him to stay, he stays for about 5 seconds then continues to follow me and desnt seem to stay put. Also is there a way to make him bark early on, only commands I see so far are :wait, keep them busy and DD call. is DD call a bark command, or do you unlock it the more you level him up?

Thanks

I guess my problem with the combat deployment was a bug, now it works. whatever

d dog is still a puppy after 8-9 missions, not sure how much I need to wait.

ALSO how they fuck 10-15 guys from my staff died? I dismissed every ''troublemaker'' and it's still a graveyard here.

They can die on combat missions. Look at the estimated losses percentage when deploying. If not that then not sure what else it could be.

You need to keep revisiting Mother Base to check up on DD, which unlocks scenes before he grows into an adult dog. Also, if you're never going to Mother Base (just getting your men to salute raises morale), staff morale will drop and your guys will kill each other. Either that or it's the missions you're sending them on (again, if their staff morale is low, they are more likely to die).

As someone who played GZ on PS4, but received PP on PC...are the bonuses worth it to play through GZ again, or are they ultimately superfluous?

Bark unlocks as you use him and replaces "DD call." Stay is pointless pretty much since he doesn't get in your way and enemies don't pay attention to him.

Some questions for Mother Base related stuff.

1) Soldiers are getting auto assigned for me. Am I able to have them sent to the waiting room first so that I can assign them how I want? Can't see an option for it.

2) Anyway to mark the target practice missions as done. Having them forever count towards the number of side ops available gets a bit annoying.

Asking again.

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this question, but are there any places doing competitions or giveaways to win a copy of this? I'm stony broke (again, this time due to train tickets) this month and can't afford a copy right now.

Is there a way to get the chopper to play me to a new point on the map in Afganistan without returning to the sky screen thing?

(Like how it works in Mother Base.)

There were quite a few of those going on before release. You missed those. I gave quite a few of them actually.

Dunno of any other place currently giving out the game.

One observation i made when B.Boss is in the ACC =>Could be Story related:
When i zoom into BB, his reflection becomes visible in the Helicopters window, thing is, i see a bald headed guy, => my avatar is a bald headed guy. So the operation went trough?

I've seen other people alluding to this Easter egg but can't figure out how to see it myself. Is it when you're inside the helicopter or when it's picking you up?

How do I remove items from my inventory? Seeing that more inventory costs more GMP I just wanted to remove the machine gun but I can't figure out how to do that....

So any other crazy missable things to look out for other than the Medical Plant one?
which is either total bullshit or leading up to something stupid.

People having trouble with Mission 16

You can literally just walk around the Skulls. They will always sense where you are, so bait them far enough away from the truck then run around them. You can kind of distract them as well with a cleverly placed C4.

Good tip for everyone I've seen done before but I don't see mentioned on here much. On the map part of the Idroid while out in the field you can use the dpad up and down to issue quick commands such as helicopter extraction, directing quiet, etc.

So does (mission 45 spoilers)
Quiet ever come back? Or is she literally gone forever.

And what do they want me to do to unlock mission 46. I've done almost all the side ops now.

How did everybody complete the Legendary Bear side-op? Nothing worked for me until I
let it charge me and then punched it in the face with my stun arm.

this isn't exclusive to reflections and also appliesto how the game displays shadows - it doesn't show hair.

Finally got to the second region. I think I spent more time doing side ops than was worthwhile, because I haven't been presented with an option to make a tranq sniper or upgrade the fulton to air lift enemy containers full of resources. On the plus side, even the most basic of side missions are fun because the game gives you a ton of ways to fuck around with enemies, or to avoid them completely. They pretty much nailed open world stealth in their first (and last) crack at it.

As far as obtaining a particular sidekick -
Can you just "klll" Quiet with a regular sniper rifle and opt not to execute her, thereby recruiting her? Or do you have to use a nonlethal weapon?

Pretty amazing game. I'm slightly surprised at the lack of anything resembling routine boss encounters, but pretty much everything else is top notch. The number of ways you can get into the building to retrieve Huey is very impressive.

Well I got greedy and tried to take out the bonus tanks on mission 9 and died. Wish I would have known that it was going to start me all the way back at the beginning. FUCK.

THIS....GAME....IS....AWESOME!!!!!!!

It runs very very well in 5K even though it's locked to 60FPS.

With all settings maxed out, the game runs great!

Here's a 5K wallpaper (5120x2880) of MGSV TPP:

Just saw the medbay scene -

What a total crock of shit. I don't know whats worse, severe lack of any plot or narrative or the plot or narrative being as bad as peace walkers. When it does surface.

Really need help, a bit spoilery I guess..., if you havent made it past 31 so I'll spoiler tag just in case, but I don't know if I'm screwed or not at this point.

After unlocking the battle gear I could send it to an S rank deployment mission, but saw I had 55% chance of success, Stupidly I still said yeah then changed my mind and wanted to cancel, but that ABANDONED by battle gear and I have no idea how to get another one. I still see the battle gear in the hangar actually, but I don't have one to send on combat deployment. Help?
