I feel like one of the biggest (and one of many) missed opportunities in MGSV is the lack of a more dynamic and customizable camo system.
The camo index in MGS3 was so nuanced and fun to use (haters be damned), and in MGS4 it at least had some fun adaptability to it that made it useful.
Here you're never sure if your camo is effective against the terrain you're using it on; they all seem to have the same effect. So long as you're crouching/crawling, it works the same.
Really a crying shame.
