source: "Вокруг билдов метро" - this guy leaked 4A Games cancelled project EOLLA's trailer, unreleased metro last light trailer,old metro 2033 builds and metro last light MP maps + some exclusive early Gameplay and screenshots. so As you can see, this person is quite reliable.

Metro 4 information: (it's a leak and unconfirmed)

• 4A Games started the development of the new metro in 2020, the new metro was supposed to be fully open world, but all this was cancelled in 2022 and the project was rebooted in second half of 2022. (So the game has large open locations, but it will not be open world). - main location: Moscow metro and Moscow surroundings.

• Artyom will no longer be the main character.

• You will find many familiar locations in the new metro. (Moscow)

• Hanza Returns.

• Sergei karmalsky - Metro 4 art-director.

• 4A Games has resumed work on their new AAA IP - EOLLA (stalker in space) in end of 2023. first development time (2011-2014)

I hope they wont replace Artyom with some brave woman like most devs do these days

Exodus was so damn fantastic. I finished it like 3 times.
Not perfect. WAY too much talking and talking and talking. You can't go past anyone without "ARTYOOOOM WIPE MY ASS AND HEAR MY STORY ABOUT MY UNCLE "
And way too many 1st person animations for doing everything. I hate that stuff.
But the game is so good otherwise

Hopefully this new one has more supernatural elements than the last one. They really went for a more grounded approach, pun slightly intended, with Exodus. One of my favorite aspects of the series is the supernatural.

Nobody asked an open-world. All AAA open-world games have been terrible in the last few years except Elden Ring. Please to not try to do one following the same boring open-world template!

Exodus size was perfect with a good balance between exploration, side quests, and linear story. Because the side stories were very well integrated into the main story.

Just a bit worried about not Artyom been there, is it canon?

I like the sound of those changes. Artyom's story is effectively done, no need to bring him back. In my headspace, I love the idea of open-world Metro, but Stalker 2 scratches that itch very well and Metro: Exodus's giant open spaces used the map very well and never felt too small or not enough. Exodus was a masterpiece in my opinion that too many people slept on considering the time when it came out. Great game in a great series and I look forward to more.
