Metroid Prime 4 |OT| It's Only sMylesHow about we just have a positive title
They felt exceptionally lived in and believable. Rooms almost always have a logical purpose with discernible infrastructure, technology etc.Well yeah hopefully. If they didn't have the thing where every single room in each level is unique I think I'd be devastated lol.
I always loved how no two rooms were the same, while maintaining a cohesive and logical look and style to any pair of rooms within a level/environment. There was no copy and pasting in those games.
I remember stopping to take in every detail of every room. I remember having favourite 'little rooms' - how many games can you say the art direction or architecture and interior design of one tiny insignificant room was so striking that you declared it the best room yet to yourself, you know?
They would weave in the design motifs throughout every space so well.
So every new space was interesting to look around. Even the ceilings and floors. You could see the love and care put into every space by the environmental artists and level designers.
The art direction in these game has always been incredible.
How about we just have a positive title that isn't designed to provoke anybody?
I'm sure the game will have positive things to highlight in the thread title.
Damn. I guess that's what I'm getting, then.Probably very similar with a lower resolution and worse textures. This is a Switch game at it's core. Even the Switch 2 physical edition comes with the switch cartridge and an upgrade code for the Switch 2 version.
I don't think the part about the download code is correct.Damn. I guess that's what I'm getting, then.
Metroid Prime 4 Beyond |OT| A Samus to the Past
That's probably based of off the interview with Tanabe from 2015.People keep saying she is going to the past but I dont think so.
But of course time travel can be used in lots of ways. If they're sticking to the above it sound to me that we maybe never leave the initial planet in the game's intro. It might just be the same place represented at different points in time.Speaking with Tanabe, it was clear he had plenty of ideas for the game, including a focus on a single planet that has a time-shifting mechanic, similar to Metroid Prime 2 Echoes single planet with dark and light variants.
I think that time travels are part of the game…People keep saying she is going to the past but I dont think so.
The hot theory right now is Tanamar and Viewros are the same planet. One in the past and one in the future.People keep saying she is going to the past but I dont think so.

Could just be that the relic is just a teleporter on the same level as a Portkeys from Harry Potter or Portals to different worlds like in Turok.
But if it turns out it's a Black Hole deal it could be a parallel dimension.
Can't wait to find out.
The artifact is clearly warping the space in a large radius. I think time and space will be a big factor.I thought it was just the artifact created a wormhole connecting two points in spacetime so far that no ship with their current technology could ever make. Maybe in a completely different galaxy.
No one knows what's what. We haven't played it. Since when was speculation about games not allowed? If you'd managed to avoid possible plot spoilers up until now don't worry because all of them will be casually shared in this thread.
Good lord.

Either that or it's a weapon that imprisons an entire Planet. Similar to the Rakatan Mind Prison from Star Wars EU.
I think translocation and a time warp is more probable.
Tanabe said in a interview he wishes he could have done MP2's Light and Dark World better and I think that will be illustrated with MP4.
Yeah, a decade ago.. There's no way of knowing if they kept any of those loose ideas. But it's the basis of the speculation since we have nothing else to go on.You yourself have quoted somebody talking about plot ideas for this game. From a decade ago.
Come on, man. The game is out in a week and you're all like, how about we just put all these ideas into every readers heads and ruin the surprise?
We've seen from early footage even before the recent overview and teasers that even one of the Federation Mechs was translocated. I'd imagine probably the entire research facility was enveloped. Which you can see here. The radius is huge.Seeing how much that light from the artifact covered the base, it would be strange if these are the only troopers stranded on the planet.
How about we just have a positive title that isn't designed to provoke anybody?

If it turns out to be the case that "spoiler" has been in the wild for over a decade. It's not some new revelation.
What is the motivation and need to go over the plot for a game that is out in a week?
You (all of you in question) want to work it out before you see it; why? And you want everyone else to see what the plot you think you've worked out is, again why is that?
Crazy thought, but how about letting people come to this possible realisation themselves rather than spoiling the possible connection for them?
We're a week from the game and you can't resist doing this. This should be in spoiler tags with a speculation about plot note. Now every single person who sees your post cannot come to this realisation themselves.
You're on a dedicated gaming forum.. Knowing, speculating, and obsessing over every detail of our favorite series is exactly what we do.What is the motivation and need to go over the plot for a game that is out in a week?

Do you also go to forums about movies or TV-series and complain that people speculate about the plot? The next episode might be out in a week after all, so what's the point, right?
I'm not sure how you could expect a group filled with the most dedicated fans not to speculate and discuss every minute detail and possibility.
The Isolationists become....
The Spoilerists!!!

Fake fans get big mad when real fans do video game stuff and speculate about the plot(this is the fun stuff) before the plot even happens. Fake fans would rather cry about Myles and spoil everyone about Day 1 sales and what number game gets on Metacritic.I'm not sure how you could expect a group filled with the most dedicated fans not to speculate and discuss every minute detail and possibility.
Thank you kind sir.
Oh and the game is in the wild....
