MGS: Twin Snakes - Possible for Switch says Former Silicon Knights President

Just saw this article Metal Gear Informer - http://www.metalgearinformer.com/?p=29546

Where a twitter user asked Denis Dyack (former president of Silicon Knights) if it would be possible to get Twin Snakes.

He replied with a simple "Yes"

Thus hinting more at Gamecube emulation for switch is coming?

backflip me over a missile if old

Konami and Nintendo are kinda close...so if thise two companies can work something out - sure. Doubt Dyack would be involved lol.

Dont read too much into it - thats like sayin Onimusha 2 port to Switch would be possible..sure it is but it wont happen.

Denis Dyack is so relevant in today's games industry that he courts gamer bigots like Gamergate because they're the only ones in gaming who would want to listen to him.

He's not lying here. It's possible.

But it's doubtful that he'd know or would be involved. Nintendo didn't even bother helping Silicon Knights despite having a stake in the firm.

I think Dyack will say anythings possible to strum up business of any kind. What project has he delivered as of late?

I mean, it's also possible that Konami would remake MGS4 from the ground up to allow it to be ported to other systems. But that possiblity is something like 0,00000001% percent.

Don't believe his lies.

He just knows that Twin Snakes and Eternal Darkness on the GC were the last time that anyone took him or his company seriously.

I don't want to dogpile on the dude but I do need something more concrete than the word of Denis Dyack to even consider getting excited for this.

I wouldn't trust a word that comes out of that guy's mouth. I don't think he has a saying in the matter anyway.
If there is going to be something about Twin Snakes on the Switch we would hear it from someone at Konami or Nintendo, not Dyack!

so going off this threads views on Dan.

"is there a possibility a switch can be played on mars through the power of the sun alone"
"yes"

it's possible, until proven wrong right?

What was their relationship? Did they just make games exclusively for GameCube at the time?

They had an exclusivity deal with Nintendo. Nintendo funded and published Eternal Darkness. Konami, Nintendo, and SK partnered to create The Twin Snakes.

So, if GameCube Virtual Console on Switch is actually a thing, I don't see why this couldn't be released at some point. Not sure how much information Dyack would actually have on this though.

Can't tell if OP is really unaware of Dyack and his history or trying to massage the truth a bit to make it seem like this is actually noteworthy and close to reality.
