but but it's evil Sony's fault that Microsoft wasn't getting exclusivity deals (and nothing to do with Microsoft would rather buy a publisher)Hines just stated that they sought out exclusivity for their titles.

It absolutely does.Changing Indiana Jones to exclusive really shows their true intent that people wanted to deny and that the case-by-case was BS.
I wonder if they were sold a pack of lies but didn't get it in writing like Bungie seems to have managed with SonyI get the impression Pete Hines is regretting Bethesda being acquired by Microsoft
Depp V Heard is up there too![]()
I haven't seen this much testimonial destruction since the "stepped on a bee" and Rittenhouse cases.
I felt that he was annoyed when he tweeted an apology about the Starfield exclusive.I get the impression Pete Hines is regretting Bethesda being acquired by Microsoft
That's the "stepped on a bee" one.Depp V Heard is up there too![]()
My thoughts as well. You can tell he really hated answering questions about exclusivity in interviews, and now we are really finding out. It's like MS also lied to Hines as well!I get the impression Pete Hines is regretting Bethesda being acquired by Microsoft
Phil is a big liar, bigger than Jim.Damn they caught Phil on email lol
Insert lies of phil meme, such an apt game for gamepassPhil is a big liar, bigger than Jim.

It is not incompatible. And that's why Pete Hines himself puts the example of Detahloop and Tokyo that were going to be launched at the same time on PS5 and Xbox but decided that it was more appropriate to sign the exclusivity agreement with SONY.Changing Indiana Jones to exclusive really shows their true intent that people wanted to deny and that the case-by-case was BS.
How long is this (today) supposed to run for?
All his gaming for everyone, we all win. What? what happened?

(it's 10:20pm where I am)
have you ever considered working for a politician with the experience you have at spinning things?Pete Hines: "We like the idea of how many players we get on game pass"
Whelp, so much for Hines regretting the acquisition.
Forgot you need to be acquired to have games on GamePass.Pete Hines: "We like the idea of how many players we get on game pass"
Whelp, so much for Hines regretting the acquisition.
That's just PR talk and damage control.Pete Hines: "We like the idea of how many players we get on game pass"
Whelp, so much for Hines regretting the acquisition.
Whats he gonna say? I hate that peasants play our games without buying them?Pete Hines: "We like the idea of how many players we get on game pass"
Whelp, so much for Hines regretting the acquisition.

lol....I love you guys. thanks for the GAF livestream
No, incorrect, those deals preceded the contracts with Sony - MS is being accused, not Zenimax. The difference in the Indiana Jones deal is likely they asked Disney to amend it and likely paid them a large sum of money to exclude a platform. It is not incompatible. And that's why Pete Hines himself puts the example of Detahloop and Tokyo that were going to be launched at the same time on PS5 and Xbox but decided that it was more appropriate to sign the exclusivity agreement with SONY.
The FTC's problem is proving with facts and not indications that MS is going to make COD exclusive. It's not a strong test when there are Zenimax games that will keep releasing on PS5 and when the Zenimax purchase was approved without conditions.
We know why they made it exclusive, so no need to spin it to make MS look innocent. It's not about reducing workload, it's about making their ecosystem better. It is not incompatible. And that's why Pete Hines himself puts the example of Detahloop and Tokyo that were going to be launched at the same time on PS5 and Xbox but decided that it was more appropriate to sign the exclusivity agreement with SONY.
