I got a 10 year deal in my cereal this morning

I've got so many 10 years deals that I've rolled them all up.

They've put out almost all of their 1P games on Steam with Zenimax's games (and likely their prior EGS commitments) being the only exception.

There's no reason for him to not trust Phil for bringing the games to Steam.
Valve puts out almost no 1p games on Steam so it’s not like they are competing.

MS have no choice but to bring them to Steam if they want them on PC, because of Steam's overwhelming market share.

Which Gabe did not provide as a part of his answer for not signing a 10-year deal, even though he could've. And the funny part is, I agree with Gabe. The other funny part is, Sony's accomplished the same in the console space but for "whatever" reason, certain senators and politicians with MS funding want to call Sony's market dominance an illegal monopoly, but Valve's domination of PC gaming storefronts is a "natural" monopoly?

Even when they both earned their positions through offering superior product to customers 🤔

I think at this point it safe to rule Valve as a stronefront developer than a games developer.
They did Trojan Horse HL2 to it. I remember many of us PC gamers were pissed, as I was putting on my collector's edition t-shirt, motherfucking that install crash process on day 1. We gamers are weak sometimes, lol.

But Steam is beautiful today. Most beautiful.

Listening to this shit instead of playing ff16.

I've peaked as a gamer.

MS got their exclusive after all, and it's only the acquisition of today's news cycle.

Guess they can "compete" after all 🤣

The beauty of vertical integration. I'd forgotten all about this actually xD.

These are the same people who lost their shit when the FTC agreed with the EU on trying to break up the American duopoly of mobile OS between Apple and Google. Without considering it would allow Microsoft, another American company, a chance to compete.

He worked for MS.
And is also very likely one of those first decade employees that was minted as a millionaire from the shares he was given with his employment as they multiplied via the market cap.

He probably still has shares and would have a vested interest in this deal passing. He was the guy that did the directx port of doom when directx was like the fifth most popular graphics API, and he even hid a flight simulator game he wrote in something like Excel 95 that actually shipped to customers, and could be accessed with a hidden key sequence IIRC.

Xbox want to offer an xCloud SKU, don't they?

Bond: Not to my knowledge.

(referring to prior testimony) Start at line 22. Question, are there any plans to release a dedicated xCloud SKU right now? (vague statement) but Xbox would very much like to do it.

Bond: that was Sept. 2022, the answer I just gave you is relative to now.

Oh Xbois she's a dumb dumb.

Yeah that doesn't look good at all. Caught in 4k 30fps.

Fucking hell, this really bad, they're looking like absolute clowns here.

I dunno if they're honestly going the "poor Microsoft route" or just massively inept, but Booty, Spencer, Bond, they all need to go see Stayda in his office and get their marching orders.
