we rarely get public hearings like this, but like depp and heard it gives us a good indication of how biased some publications are (even tho we knew).

I was checking Destin and Tom's tweets and they all leave out information that may be damning, if they had integrity they would show both openly and have honest criticism.

It's a sad state of affairs
I'm sure all that Destin guy will do is make a video talking about the Jim Ryan Email.

Bonnie Ross was elegantly fired because she couldn't manage a single studio and a single IP....go figure if she could steer the whole ship....although the other executives are no better it seems.

Microsoft is no stranger to executives that absolutely cannot steer the ship. They famously had Steve Ballmer for a while running the entire show.

This is the second Bond killed in action this decade

The contracts are the definition of misdirection. If Microsoft thinks they should have got $0.01 more than they pulled in from any of these services they can void the contract. Hilarious.
Do you think Nvidia is dumb and signs things of that caliber? What they are explaining there are standard clauses in any contract and surely the conditions of rupture of agreement were agreed by both parties.

What remains in view of the judge is that MS has agreed with a competitor and certainly the FTC has not achieved anything obstensible to its interest.

Man it's an uphill battle for ftc after that cod revenue revelation.
Revenue split you mean? I guess that just tells us (and the FTC) how important CoD it actually is for Xbox that they've agreed to lower their revenue split to 20/80 from the bog-standard 30/80 they demand from every other 3rd party publisher and dev.

Nope. I am listening myself and not letting other opinions rot my brain.
So CoD being able to dictate on their own terms, showing that they are indeed one of, if not the most important franchise in gaming, even bigger than Xbox at the negotiations table... is not a good look for MS and the shit they said to regulators over the past year.

Can you share your reasoning then?

Lots of drive-by posts by you
Explain my reasoning? It's pretty obvious. It demonstrates the market dominance of PlayStation. And Microsoft are accepting worse contract conditions to try and remain in the game.

And fuck off with the drive by posts thing lad 😂

The "worse contract condition" that only a game like call of duty can enforce.

The EU made those remedies enforceable tho. It isn't that hard to understand.

Whether they will (and actually have the ability to) enforce them is a different story.

So that's why when it comes to regulators they've got to take care of their own.
