Poor form. I can spell my boss' name, surely Tom Warren can do the same.Lol can't even spell his name right.
Nadella cringing hard "I love their games, I love democracy... AND CALL OF DUTY"
Their entire acquisition policy asks for gamepass subscription exclusivity in their terms. Just look at the Sega acquisition plan.Nadella saying "If it were up to me, I'd get rid of all the exclusives."
Bro, you are the CEO. Why do you have exclusive software in the first place?! So much bullshit in the court.
The irony of anyone in this thread calling another person in this thread a warrior…Don't worry. The warriors are all clapping like trained seals, proclaiming this is all evidence the deal will close.
Why would Sony agree to it but? Nadella wants to do it, then he should just do it. It shouldn't depend on Sony doing the same thing.
Besides, he has approved 18 studio acquisitions in the last 5 years and made their games exclusives. What does he think that'll make Sony do? Will Sony make more exclusives now to counter those purchases or fewer exclusives now?
Lol can't even spell his name right.

-Satay Nutella CEO of Microsoft Corp.
Exactly. They complain a lot about what Sony and others do, but also do themselves. It's only bad when it isn't in their favour.Their entire acquisition policy asks for gamepass subscription exclusivity in their terms. Just look at the Sega acquisition plan.
Eid Mubarak bro!Celebrating Eid, today is Eid day.
Not anymore, specially with the high costs of a triple AAA. 200million++Yes you can, ask Nintendo in 1998 when they co owned Pokemon
Eid Mubarak broCelebrating Eid, today is Eid day.
I don't think so. Can't fault him for telling the truth about his vision for cloud and services. And in my opinion, while his testimony probably pleased the CMA quite a bit, I think he just designated the scape goat for investors if MS ends up with a worst case scenario (no Activision deal, and Starfield underwhelming as a revenue driver).Okay, this dude is full on retard mode now.
Disingenuous. It's not like you didn't quote his reasoning. The CEO of Microsoft does not decide things.

My bad!
Celebrating Eid, today is Eid day.
They were the 1st one to release their games on PC and eliminate full Xbox exclusives. Sony followed suite later. Xbox could also be done with console exclusives if they wanted to.Disingenuous. It's not like you didn't quote his reasoning.
So Xbox should be the one console without any exclusives? That would instantly kill the brand.
I wish they would, and I hope for Sony to follow as well. They were the 1st one to release their games on PC and eliminate full Xbox exclusives. Sony followed suite later. Xbox could also be done with console exclusives if they wanted to.

This is the best case I've seen in my whole Fucking life.So Nadella reinforced the CMA's position that cloud gaming is an emerging market with a lot of potential.
Don't worry Destin is the best spinning everything pro Xbox the rest will see what he says and copy and paste itI can already guess how this one will be spun.
Something like this: Microsoft is buying up the industry because it is content starved, and despite owning more studios than Sony and Nintendo, they need to do this to compete against the big bad unfair Sony.
Definitely not something that's being pushed by Sony or Nintendo. This is M$ being willing to take billions in losses over the next 10+ years to squeeze everyone else out.I have to admit I am a bit taken aback by a lot of what the MS side has been saying internally. Didn't they learn from the XB1 fiasco? Unless I am reading it wrong (which I might be), it seems that the long term plan for the gaming division is to become what, essentially just a big digital rental store?
Now I want to see what Sony and Nintendo are saying internally too because...if it comes down to that, I mean I'll be pretty much done with gaming lol.
This motherfucker just brought it full circle. From kicking the UK out to pledging his allegiance to their former colony. Don't worry, Brits, we got them back for you!
That and I think their bigger focus is to just shift to mobile gaming. At least that's what their internal conversations and documents show.I have to admit I am a bit taken aback by a lot of what the MS side has been saying internally. Why don't they just go ahead and be the change they want to see then?
At first before looking it up I thought you were talking about the implant women get to prevent pregnancy. I was like "man there is a holiday for everything nowadays".Celebrating Eid, today is Eid day.
Jim Ryan bullied them to stay exclusive. The evidence is damning, they have an email from Jim Ryan who wrote "fuck it, keep it exclusive" when Satya offered Redfall on PS5.Why don't they just go ahead and be the change they want to see then?
We all know that Satya's statement is bullshit.Exclusives are a tactic that has been used since the industry started and the only safe way to have no exclusives is to be the company exclusively running the industry. Any executive worth their paycheck would know how dangerous it is to have none. Of course, when you're the competitor having one hell of a time getting your own good exclusives out the door, you'd wish the others weren't doing it at all. Then you truly could just race to the bottom by cutting Day 1 GamePass deals. Microsoft sure as shit hasn't proven themselves creative enough to differentiate with hardware, either.
I added the democracy part. It sounded like a cringe Palpatine speech.Bruh the inner-Palpatine is best left unspoken

Phil touted that, but how does it make sense to acquire 10 plus studios who are only experienced in console/PC development to make them all pivot? That and I think their bigger focus is to just shift to mobile gaming. At least that's what their internal conversations and documents show.
They are more interested in making mobile games than consoles and console games. They even talked about completely shutting down Xbox and creating a new Microsoft mobile gaming in place of Xbox.
Next do one ranking their fanboys based on mental stability.Imma do a Xbox Fanboy journalist tier list for funsies.
1) Jez Corden (Greatest fanboy)
2) Destin Legarie
3) Tom Warren
4) Ryan Mcaffrey ( Weakest fanboy)
I thought it seemed pretty straightforward. Keep games away from Sony.Phil touted that, but how does it make sense to acquire 10 plus studios who are only experienced in console/PC development to make them all pivot?
If he's that flippant about Xbox that he was seemingly willing to consider chucking it in for mobile, why not chuck Xbox in right now and start publishing all games on Switch/PS4/PC & strip back Game Pass to a first party only service to get it on PS and Switch?
They could then get their devs working on mobile games too.
The whole strategy from Xbox seems like a convoluted mess.
Full agreement then.I am referring to Tom Warren.

But why if they were willing to drop Xbox for mobile? Sony are literally only operating in the home console space relative to M$. And if Spencer considered dropping Xbox, it goes against that narrative.I thought it seemed pretty straightforward. Keep games away from Sony.

That tweet where he asked Phil if he could present the Xbox showcase is legitimately the most pathetic interaction I've ever seen on the internet.Don't let Ryan fool you. He may be the worst of them all. I've seen enough of his tweets to know that his show as "one of the level headed Xbox fans" is just that. A show. He's a raging fanboy who would probably be the most likely among those four to snap and try to kill Jim Ryan at a press meeting.
It would be an exceedingly aggressive move, almost without precedence. At least none that I can immediately think of.We stand in solidarity on this point.
But hey, since we know you are a UK lawyer (or is solicitor over there?), can we read anything into MS (apparent) willingness to close despite the CMA decision? That part of this saga has me all sorts of confused. I've heard so much about CMA having teeth, not getting overturned usually, etc. So their willingness to close makes no sense to me. So what's your take on that? Could they have gotten assurances from someone who can overturn CMA decision that it will happen?
