Give him a break. He hasn't seen his own dick in ages. So he'll do anything to be face-to-shaft with Phil's.

What we need to check is if Sony will receive Diablo expansions or not. Sony need to review Bungie deal. Marathon has more than 20 mi views on trailer. If MS fuck them well keep Marathon out of Xbox.

Everyone's all COD this, COD that.

Here I am dreaming about what will come of MS getting control of Activisions' old Mech Warrior games since MS owns FASA and the Battletech license. And MS will also be getting all of Sierra's old IP.

Content for already released games will come out. That won't be an issue.

Ghostwire got the Spiders update on both consoles after the Xbox version came out.

Revenge it is then.

A new Mechwarrior came out just a few years ago in 2019. And all Sierra games only really worked as pc games since so many were phaser based.

I was talking in case of no Diablo expansions because they lost stuff from abk until 2027 that was on the contract.

"Sony got offered 10 years for all Activision titles" is the new script false narrative.

Not sure why there must always be a new falsehood but it's the circle of life I guess.

This is the MS that shut down FASA Studio, you actually think they care about old mech shit?

Not to mention, what does a complete exit of cloud gaming in the UK even look like? They get to gate keep all of the content or do they permanently sell all of their current and future games' cloud streaming publishing rights, and sell their UK data centres and infrastructure?

I'd assume that MS will sell cloud gaming rights to a third party intermediary. MS would still own the content and would get paid for it when it was used/purchased but would not control the bidding process or determine the winning bidder, assuming that the intermediary was subletting the content. Thus, Sony could purchase the content for their own streaming service, etc. As could any upstart. Remember, officially the CMA doesn't have a problem with MS owning this content, just about the competitiveness of the cloud gaming market. Which would remain exactly as it stands before the deal in this scenario.

I don't think MS has cloud gaming specific data centers, just a service that they would shut down. Azure wouldn't have anything to do with this at all (although maybe there would be some kind of a stipulation about maintaining linux versions of ABK code so cloud providers weren't forced into Windows).

Like I said, we'll see in time how it works out.

Yet the 2015 King's Quest by The Odd Gentlemen was really good. Activision wisely made a lot of the Sierra games available on both Steam and GOG. But having new entries would be great.

MechWarrior 5 was OK, but it was no MechWarrior 2.

2k is easy.
Remember Bethesda approval?
We spent time talking about what is exclusive or not.
The realistic expectation is that in the next 10 years, we can expect 10 CoD games.

Plus 1-2 WoW expansions, and the D4 expansion.

So there isn't that much to talk about regarding ABK and exclusivity, unless we think Candy Crush is going Xbox exclusive

Sierra came back and made TWO games and was quickly shuttered. The group hasn't made a single game since that kq game.

Nothing is Mechwarrior 2. We will never see that glory again.

You underestimate what this thread is capable off.

As I own all consoles, but am an extremely cheap individual, this is a win for me as it means more games on gamepass.

How is it possible that this deal is now going through though? Oh, that's right, the same reason I've been saying all along:

This deal was never in jeopardy. Only question was when, not if.

And no, you'll never be as cool as these guys -

It could be like cable companies. All those bargain priced last mile providers you see advertising at bus stops that still use the main company's network. But instead of the main company hoarding it all at a higher price controlling it, they have to sell at dirt cheap wholesale prices to intermediaries as you say and they control the final price and bank the rest of the profits.

The FASA Studio that made the FPS Shadowrun? Ya, I'd have shut them down as well.

It's weird that Weisman's Harebrained Schemes didn't get picked up by MS during their buying blitz where they acquired inXile and Obsidian. Maybe there's some bad blood between Weisman and MS, but who knows?

GHG GHG this has been a wild ride already. Until it is officially closed it's best to believe that literally anything could happen. We could have 1000 pages left.

I think it's pretty safe to say this is the final countdown.

Microsoft have arrived at their intended destination, a few scrapes and bumps along the way but they just need to park the car.

Judging by the trading activity since last week Tuesday there is absolutely no way this deal doesn't close now. If it didn't go through then then there would be an unprecedented number of hedge funds caught off-side. Just not going to happen, they won't allow it to not happen.

Really depends on what concessions they need to make to appease CMA.

R.I.P. 01011001 01011001 I believed many of your opinions to be outlandish. I believed many of your assertions to be arrogant and elitist, but I will miss the hard core vibes that emanated from you. You were the hardcore of the hardcore.

Fake PCMR's are the worst. Obsessed with dunking on consoles, hate boner for anything related to Sony.

But meanwhile has trash-tier PC hardware and a Series S. Make it make sense.

At least VFXveteran, for all his misgivings, had the hardware to back up his elitist attitude. This guy however never made any sense to me. What PC gamer in their right mind keeps an internal mechanical hard drive around just for testing out former PS5 exclusives (or timed exclusives) on PC? The whole point of PC gaming is to play things at the best quality possible dependant on your hardware, not sit there being insecure and paranoid about console specs.
