I have high respect to the time people dedicate to learn all those laws and become specialists in this field.
If you think about it, lawyers and judges live the longest lives. I've been listening to this hearing for not even an hour, but it feels like I've been here longer than the 8h I clocked in at work already.

Yup Microsoft just showed the world , regulators don't mean shit. In the U.S, just pay off the judges, in the U.K, just talk to the chancellor and get what you want. What's the point of pretend regulators if your company has enough money? Amazon, Google, Meta ,Tencent, Saudi princes, the would is yours to purchase and there is nothing stopping you anymore. Microsoft just showed you the way.

Today's clown show never was about changing the deadlines, really. Even if CMA is bend over, CMA due process require to take a few more weeks, so MS/ATVI still need to negotiate and extension.

If there's one thing not to do, it's going behind the backs of people while judges like this exist. There was also a similar recent case in the EU where they closed without their permission.

The only thing we as customers can do is speak with our wallets. That's the only real power we have in this hyper-capitalist system.

In that respect, I know which way I will be voting, at least for the immediate time being. I can't reward Microsoft for the toxic politicization, FUD, lies and general BS they've done themselves as well as enabled among the worst in their community to get this deal to go through. I gotta respect my own principals on this one.

Proper regulation wouldn't have allowed for multi trillion dollar companies to exist in the first place. It's been a joke.
 
I'm going to level with you guys:

I have no idea what is happening anymore, and I'm to the point that I simply don't care. The amount of roller coasting throughout this process has been absolutely unreal, and I do not like roller coasters.
 
Just a few days ago activision stock bottomed at $89. Today it's jumped to $93. When it closes firm you can either wait for the full $95 or dump it when It hits somewhere around maybe $94.70.

You could had made 5-6% in 3 days.

Does that mean they can close or they can not close? he talks too much I stopped focusing what does adjournment mean in this case.
