MTV owns it... it's a staple IP for them like Mario is to nintendo. and it's still probably bringing in tons of money from DVD sales and merchandise

though in one interview mike judge made it sound like it's possible that something could be worked out to bring it somewhere else

definitely... i didn't care for it at all when i saw it in high school. I think it didn't click with a lot of people at first, as it didn't really become a "hit" until years later on DVD
