Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part 1 | Official Trailer

I wonder if the success of Top Gun Maverick will have any positive effect on the box office results for this movie.

Can't wait to see this, Fallout was such an amazing experience in theaters!

How is this dude 60 years old

He ACTUALLY never skips leg day.

These movies and Fast and Furious are essentially the same thing to me.

I still hate that they killed the team in the first movie.

But that was the plot of the first movie? Ethan was framed and he had to solve the mystery of who the mole was in the IMF that killed his team.
I hate it, and they killed the whole team and made the leader the bad guy. It went against everything the TV show established.

I find the M:I films tend to be kinda incestual with all the call backs to earlier characters and the perpetual silly scenes with Shaun of the Dead and Marcellus Wallace but they are still fantastic experiences. Rebecca Ferguson....OMG

Christopher McQuarrie has taken MI to a whole new level, such a brilliant director. The set pieces, cinematography, dialogue, audio cues, all so good. Well fleshed out character development too, I fucking loooove where this is going.

I know there is already a supercut, but one day we will be able to watch Cruise Missile running for 90 straight minutes.

And after watching this trailer, I had (again) to look up how old he is. The last remaining icon of the 80s.

These movies are way better than Top Gun in my opinion.. So glad to have them back. One of my favorite action franchises.

But im not gonna watch this trailer. I only watch the first trailer these days. Other trailers and spots have too many moments in em.

The prosecutor from Emily Rose. Sniper Wolf woman. Yakuza woman. Tom Cruise running with conviction. I'm in.

I've only seen the first two. The second one sucked so bad I've never revisited them. Apparently the second one is the only bad one though and they get better and better from there.

The 3rd is only slightly better than 2. It really picks up with the 4th one, Ghost protocol.

That's correct. The 2nd one is by far the worst. 3 is a return to form, and 4-6 are great.

I am so far behind on this series. I need to catch up. It looks good and the last few have reviewed well. With Bond out, time to get back into Mission Impossible. They also need to make some games out of the IP.

The third one was one of the few movies that start with the series-trope "48 hours before". A nice change in pace.

Liked it, at least one franchise JJ wasnt able to kill.

This is 100% true. MI:2 is terrible, cheesy, and ridiculous. 3 is a vast improvement, but from Ghost Protocol and on, they have all been exceptional.

The dude is a weird mother fucker, involved in some shady shit, but he never misses at the box office. His insistence on keeping things practical should be applauded in an age of constant CGI saturated crap.
