As the so-called Senior member of Reds-Age, let me welcome you to the thread. We have decent representation nowadays, but it wasn't always the case.

Anyway, It was the 'Rob' thing, lol. But, you getting teased for that has less to do with this thread and more to do with how things work on GAF. A user named Pimpwerx drives people nuts with the signature on every post, so people kinda take their stored-up rage at him and displace it on anyone who signs their posts.

As for the lifelong/bandwagon thing... look man, it's what happens when your team is good and you're new to a sports thread. Don't take it too personal. You got off light compared to Little Green Yoda. lol

I dont frequent this thread much for baseball because most of my social time is on twitter or im actually at the games and get no data coverage at the stadium. If you goto games, try to make it to one of the Reds tweetups this year. They are fun and you get to meet a bunch of the reds personalities. Met Dallas Latos and talked to her for like an hour last year.

For those who will be getting The Show, who'd be interested in just playing some online games? No pressure of a league or anything, just some exhibition games with updated rosters?

We could keep score and have a GAF Show Champion or something.

Hello?!? Did you read any of the posts i made ITT I've already said I have over 7k posts and have been here since 08.

Prior as a Red. Hopefully this means Chapman will not be in the starting 5. I don't want to see his arm come flying off at a batter after his 80th pitch as a starter.

The downside to initially posting during a championship run (even if my first posts were during that slide of suckitude that preceded the comeback). And you guys are still more friendly to newcomers than NBA-GAF.

I am just checking the box score at work but Rollins and Mayberry have both knocked in 2 runs.

Can't believe I got this proxy to work at work. Yeah Rollins hit a double, Mayberry a single. Howard had a RBI GIDP and someone else had an infield error. Halladay went 2.1 and got 3 strikeouts.

Here comes Papelbon with an 81.00 ERA
