Yes.
He's making more than Dickey this year. LOL

I will not!You got the best catching prospect in baseball, calm yourself!
What the fuck are the Mets doing? They gave up another catcher and get an infielder back? I hate this trade.
He's trolling and doing a shitty job. Just nod and say "mhm".So you're mad about giving up a 30 year old with a sub .200 career BA? Seriously what the fuck is wrong with you?

I could never imagine it happening under Minaya

Minaya was the one who signed Dickey in the first place to a minor league contract no less.
I don't see Alderson as the type to be creative enough (read: desperate) to sign a knuckleballer the way Minaya did.
EMOTIONS!
It really is a good trade for both teams.
Edit: Now officially official, the extension is 2/24 with 12m club option.
Dat Photoshop.
Everyone looks great in a Jays uniform though, cause they are the best.

List of teams that have drawn 4 million fans:I did not know this many Jays' fans existed.
Toronto is the worst current sports city in North America. Minus hackey out of the equation, they've got to get some revenue flowing somewhere.
Not even close.
The Raptors are 6-19 and still draw 18,000 per game. Our teams have sucked for years but the fans stick with them.
Tampa Bay had 90 wins last year and the lowest attendance in the league.

Not talking about attendance, talking about primarily the product.
ohhhhh
Giants have agreed with Santiago Casilla to a 3-year, $15 million deal with a vesting option for 2016.
Hey man, the Argonauts just won the Grey Cup.I'm sure attendance can be better. I don't have the numbers handy, so I'm not going to get into that argument. Regardless, they are probably lower-tier.
Toronto is sitting on oil basically. The Maple Leafs are a prime example. There is no hope for the Raptors, and there is no hockey. Get the Jays up and running and you are going to have some nice profit margins.

It's kind of disgusting that the Leafs keep selling out their games but are atrocious.
The MLB strike in the 90's help kill baseball attendance in Toronto. They won 2 championships and then a strike happens.
Yeah, Toronto attendance post-strike held steady around 2.5 million. Years of mediocre teams caused dwindling attendance more than anything.
Tell that to Montreal.

I might have posted in here once or twice before, early in the season... but after June what was ever the point?
The Cito years were depressing, and the Farrell years were just plain weird - and ended horribly.
In terms of fan numbers, the Jays enjoy good support across the country. It's always a good buzz to head down to a Jays - Mariners game (this year was the first year since 2008 that I didn't), and see the Jays' fans outnumber the home fans.
And speaking of the Mariners, imagine if they'd kept kept the pitching talent they've had since 2008. Right now they'd be starting 2013 with Felix, Dickey, Morrow, Fister and Pineda. Incredible.
2012: Romero, Morrow, Alvarez, Drabek, Hutchison.
2013: Dickey, Morrow, Johnson, Buehrle, Romero. Zounds!

Dodgers are listening to offers for Ethier according to Rosenthal.
