I cringed watching him throw those. I know what it's like to leave one hanging belt high, but you can't do it twice in three AB's. They'll kill you.

It's painful how much better he is than Recker. Plawecki is a rookie I wasn't expecting much more than .210 but Recker is supposed to be a .250-.260 hitter not a .080 hitter.
We needed him and Herrera so bad.

On a delayed stream so just catching this inning. I'll take runs however we can get them. Also, the bottom third of the Jays lineup has made a huge impact the last few games.
Edit: Dustin Pedroia is having a terrible, terrible game.

Killing the poor kids ERA, I feel bad for him because this is likely the excuse used to send him back to the minors.
No reason Wade Miley and Joe Kelly should have spots. Let the young kids pitch. Make Barnes a starter and call up one of the other big name lefties.

His FIP is still bad, but it's half his ERA and I expect it to be adjusted after the game is done.
Just awful for him. The kid is a genuinely special talent, IMO.

Yep. The annual late Spring Blue Jay winning streak is a great thing. The only thing that gives me hope this year is that the AL East is a weak division thus far.

Such negativity. Jays got rid of the inconsistent bats (Lawrie, Rasmus, Gose). This team can actually hit through average starting pitching.
