I like the big bump Bagwell got. Raines, too.
Agree. Their 2011 campaigns really elevated them in my eyes. Excellent season for both. If they can duplicate that production in 2012 they are shoe-ins

Congrats to my favorite player growing up as a kid. Larkin was always second fiddle to Ozzie Smith and, I was probably biased, I always believed he was the better all around player.
Long overdue.
Doesn't the ballot get super crowded from next year? I don't see much hope for the remaining which is embarrassing for Bagwell and Raines. I just hope Morris doesn't make it would be worse than Rice.

Damn. Maddox, Glavine, and Frank Thomas all in one year? It's going to be hard to get in that year.
Curt Schilling is going to be known to me as the guy who talked his way into the hof
I'm pretty sure he's borderline at best
Hey, I said I was biased...lolIt was only his third year on the ballot. :lol
As was Mussina as well.Schilling was much better than either Morris or Bernie.

Probably the most boring HoF class of my lifetime.
Next year we will find out if we need to close up MLB for good.

Last 3 get in, first 3 don't. Piazza gets in as the guy who might/probably have done steroids but we don't know for sure so lets put one in to be fair.

I'm not sure Piazza makes it on the first ballot, myself. Just a hunch.
I'd still put them a step below all those rotations.
wake me when Bobby Bonilla is HOF elligible.

The actual date would be 2041. Seriously.5 years after he is off the Mets payroll, so maybe 2020.
2041? Holy shit. The actual date would be 2041. Seriously.
LOL Mets.
So, not only is yet another team going to get a significantly better haul for Garza than the Twins, he's coming back to the Central?
God I fucking hate you, Bill Smith.
