Trammell got 36 percent, which is great as it's a big improvement ... but damn, he deserves to be in there. So do Bagwell, Morris, Martinez and Raines.

Congrats to Barry, though. It's well deserved.

Congrats to my favorite player growing up as a kid. Larkin was always second fiddle to Ozzie Smith and, I was probably biased, I always believed he was the better all around player.

Long overdue.

Doesn't the ballot get super crowded from next year? I don't see much hope for the remaining which is embarrassing for Bagwell and Raines. I just hope Morris doesn't make it would be worse than Rice.

Next year is when the shit hits the fan. Over/under on Bonds' and Clemens' percentage? 40?

Also, that 2014 list is loaded. At least 3 first timers are shoo-ins, and more could get in than that.

Curt Schilling is going to be known to me as the guy who talked his way into the hof

I'm pretty sure he's borderline at best

No way Schilling should get in. The only way he has a chance is if they start valuing postseason more than they do now (aka Morris and Bernie Williams get in). I don't think either of the three should. Biggio and Piazza should definitely get in.

Probably the most boring HoF class of my lifetime.

Next year we will find out if we need to close up MLB for good.

Bonds
Clemens
Sosa
Piazza
Biggio
Schilling

Last 3 get in, first 3 don't. Piazza gets in as the guy who might/probably have done steroids but we don't know for sure so lets put one in to be fair.

David Kaplan of CSNChicago is reporting the Cubs and Tigers are progressing closer to a deal that will sent Matt Garza to the Tigers in exchange for a package of prospects. The Yankees, Red Sox, and Blue Jays are still in on gim though.

The Tigers would have a super-rotation ala the Phils, Angels and Rays if they were to add Garza to what they already have, yes?

...no sir, I don't like it. :(

So, not only is yet another team going to get a significantly better haul for Garza than the Twins, he's coming back to the Central?

God I fucking hate you, Bill Smith.
