I'll admit, I was convinced the Cardinals were out of it in Game 6 of the WS this year. And they surprised me.
But I just don't see it this time. Even up 3-1 in the series, I wasn't comfortable knowing what the Giants did to the Reds. When they bombed in Game 5 against Zito, I knew they'd come up flat the rest of the three games.
Shades of 1996 all over again. With Lohse as Donovan Osbourne.

I feel bad for the Cardinals, but happy at the same time
I do feel bad for them because they had to feel so good even after getting blanked by Zito. The Giants just really just had everything go right. They had two pitchers have career days along with a couple untimely mistakes. I'm really glad this game looks to be in control though.
